Man, only had time to play four matches last night and one of them rage quit.
KEEP OUT was playing a pretty good claw and had won the first two matches. I proceeded to get a perfect on him next round and owned him the second round. Right as I started applying pressure on the third round he quit out. I called him out, he claimed he had been dropped by lag.
That can happen, especially in player matches if somebody in your room has a bad connection.
Off topic but Mr Irrepressible I swear you rep bar is getting redder by the day

I think t hawk is too forgiving a character, and you can abuse his tick throws all day. yes I can sometimes reverse them, but seriously, to me, he is being picked up by a lot of scrubs lately, from what I’ve seen. I also hate shotos…also noob friendly, and you can spam dp’s all day with almost no consequence. I give you props for choosing a character no one plays, but still, I dislike how he is played. so chill out. I don’t think you’ll make a living off this game.
You still have more to learn about the game if you claim a Shoto can spam DP’s all day with no consequence and saying Hawk is too forgiving (otherwise, at the time of the post, he wouldn’t be considered bottom tier).
If you consider this a scrub fight, you’re a lost cause.

For the record I do think you are good with hawk so relax.
I defend Hawk even when other Hawk players say he’s no good. That’s the way it is.
T-Hawk is great fun to use, he’s up there with Guile and Balrog for me in terms of fun factor. I stole so many wins with him even though I’m a huge T-Hawk scrub lol.
Some jackass Akuma named “KEEP OUT” ragequit on me. He was sitting in a room, 7 wins 1 loss. I came in (Fei) and in the first round dizzied his dumb ass and landed the jump in roundhouse -> fierce -> rekka combo to finish him. He got me next round since for some reason my reversal flame kicks were getting stuffed, but I picked up on it and took him in round 3 pretty easily. Most of his strategy revolved around throwing red fireballs and jab shoryukens. By round 4 I was back to soundly beating him when he quit.
This kind of thing really frustrates me. It’s one thing when players are so obviously terrible that they quit because you got a perfect on them; that’s at least sort of forgivable. But this guy was playing AKUMA, with 7 wins and 1 loss in the session. When his stupid strategy didn’t work against me, he wouldn’t have it.
That’s KEEP OUT for you. Guy has twice my all-time win:loss ratio and he can’t put up a fair fight.
