if you would read my other post correctly, you should see a word that says “almost” and followed by the words, “no consequence”. meaning they can do LP dp’s all day and hit you from half screen away in the middle of your move. not saying it isn’t punishable, but most scrubs use that shit all day, and it will still randomly hit me. same with scrub hawks. they use his tick throws as the only offense they got. cancel it out and keep hawk at a distance, and he’s got nothing. thats how I win against hawk, blanka, and balrog. and I saw that vid. yes, that was impressive. but like I said, hawk is still shit in my book.
You might have figured this out already, but the best way to deal with that is to bait the SRK and learn when to punish properly. If a shoto is throwing out random SRKs, you want to refrain from throwing out pokes unless they’re safe (like Boxer cr. strong). Unfortunately, Ken’s jab SRK in combination lag are a force to be reckoned with. But I’ve had plenty of Claws (I assume you’re talking about Claw) beast right through my random SRK shenanigans. You just have to be patient and wait for openings.

1hitparry–well I’ve figured out that I need to stop trying to do random pokes, but you are right, I need to wait or bait him into doing a dp to punish. its just its hard sometimes for me to read when they are more likely to throw a dp, other than when I’m jumping in lol. but you are correct, I should perhaps turtle more.
Th3 1llest - a joke in quarter matches as well as a rage quitter in ranked. He was mad that I figured out his tick throwing techniques with Fei Long.
BrokeBackNeck - I understand Chun Li is a throwing machine but when you only know how to throw you become predictable. And then to get mad and curse in mic before you quit is priceless.
I’ve had an awfully large amount of rage quitters… I think in 40 matches (my first 40 matches) I’ve had 2 EXTRA losses awarded, and missed out on a good 15-16 wins because of rage quitters, making my record look awful compared to what it should be.
I’m not great, hell I’m only just picking up Balrog and I only recently bought my first ever stick, but seriously… the number of rage quitters is incredible =/.
Yeah, he is a BS loser, and I’ll never give him the satisfaction of a win since he never returns it to me
