I think the rage quit adjustment was relative. He likely didn’t have a very high disconnect percentage or he would have been reduced a lot further.
I’m glad we see that Capcom did something about that. It would be nice to see a disconnect percentage publicly displayed so we can see, not just who might be a serial rage quitter, but who also might just have really bad internet and we can avoid them haha

Any tips against Nash players? I feel like it’s a hard matchup. I just started playing rank yesterday and had my first lost to Nash player. He just ended my win streak :bawling:

Nice matches Hokage. You were doing good against Du that match, one thing if I had to say is though he got a free jump in every time, he was making you play scared. Happens to me too, I saw you mess up some meaty timings and get thrown or jabbed. Just some constructive criticism, you do some things I want to implement in my game. I’ll try to get some matches uploaded next tournament which is in a few weeks, I play pretty similar to your style. I got 7th our first monthly in a 96 man bracket. Someone has to get a 1st place Mika victory soon!
Nash is Mika’s worst match up… only true counter is to V-Trigger whenever he throws out a Sonic Boom -_-
Other than that just be as patient as possible and catch him slippin cause after that the ball is in your court
Birdie is pretty tough too. He out pokes her. We have a really good local Birdie and he gets to play a mika every single day, so he learned the matchup almost TOO well.

I wouldn’t say all that…I just started playing rank so 80% of the people I’ve played so far aren’t that high caliber lol
I’ll continue to play rank to level up since I want to play against better players and learn different match ups. As of right now, I’ve only fought one other R.Mika and no birdie yet. Fought mostly against Ken, Nash, Bison it seems…
I also rewatched my match and realize what I could’ve done against that defensive Nash player. I couldn’t get any momentum going since he anti aired all of my jump ins. Against that I could’ve done the air body splash to mess up his timing (if he doesn’t do blade kick) and also I should’ve just used V skill if he’s just throwing sonic booms all day. If i have V trigger ready, I could’ve just used that anytime he threw out a sonic boom, it’s basically a free hit. It might be a while until I fight another competent Nash player, so if you guys have an opportunity to do the stuff I mentioned, let me know if it works out!

Dumb Gief/Mika shenanigans at the end of the first round… couldn’t clutch out a win the last two though. This was only like second or third Mika match but I knew from this one on I was going to try and main her. Was having too much fun.

Idk about that, Nash having poor wake up helps alot and he really doesnt seem to have an answer to the unblockable set ups with V-Trigger
