The thong thing is the only part of her outfit Iâm not a fan of. Someone earlier posted a comparison of her outfit from Alpha to V and I was just man if they just kept her trunks or whatever like that itâd be perfect. Its perfect otherwise.
I do think the thong was there to add to the sexiness of her attacks and especially the Ass clap in the super because that thong isnât covering anything. MK9 girls would be jealous of What Mika is showing, perhaps even more revealing that Cammy. I think Ultradavid said it best ( They have made her a cleavage monster ).
However, I do think that it is ultimately a good thing because her design now is so ridiculous that you just cant help but like it. Mika is the definition of hype in this game in almost every single aspect.
- Her V-Skill is not like anything and so much in character. A pro-wrestler cutting a promo, just genius.
- Her V-Trigger is very eye catching and one of the most visually interesting and mechanically exciting ones in the game.
- Her attacks are full of personality like all the cheering and hype when she does some of her moves.
- Her attacks are just eye catching. Her Critical art flash animation with the slap along with the sound effect still make me smile every single time i see it.
- Her super sexy outfit blends with her very cheerful personality to make a character that will steal any spotlight. You cant help but to watch her and smile and laugh at this amazing character.
I think Capcom went in a very good direction with her game-play and looks wise. She is so over the top that even if you dislike super sexualized character, you would still smile and adore at her cute and cheerful personality.

All MK girls are jealous of Mika, because she has a developer team who knows how to create and animate female characters.

R Mikaâs clothes just look painted on, I donât like it. It doesnât look right.
Itâs just on the character select screen fortunately.
Itâs supposed to look like a shiny spandex costume but with SFVâs CG style with matte textures up close and lots of shadows it looks a tiny bit weird but still great to me.
Yeah I know what itâs SUPPOSED to look like, but thatâs not what it actually looks like. It looks like sheâs wearing one of those painted on sports illustrated bikinis or something, instead of just tight clothes.
She looks fine in game, itâs just on the select screen she looks ridiculous. I mean itâs not a huge deal, but kinda sucks since I wanna main her and Iâm gonna see that over and over.
I have to look at the char select screen but I thought there was a little do where the spandex begins.

If she has unique speech for every character, theyâre going to have to keep bothering her VA whenever a new DLC character releases.

Has it been confirmed that she has a different speech for every character? Iâve only heard two: the cardio one above and a different one that I couldnât really hear that sounded different in a video I watched.
No, thatâs still just speculation and I donât think anybody has had the time to waste at these events to go in and pull off her entire promo vs. every character. Itâd be nice if they were character-specific, but itâs more likely she just has 2-3 different ones that are chosen at random, and maybe one unique one for whoever her story rival is.
VAs love having regular gigs. Having a regular source of income is a godsend.
