Would like to see Gootecks use Mikaās V-Trigger more. I believe it is where most of her strength as a character will lie.
Also is the jump-in that Combo uses (it looks like Sakuraās jump fierce) her j.d+HP? Looks mad good.
Noticing some other good looking buttons as well, sweep, j.LK, c.LK, s.MK, s.HK (but people are respecting it a little too much it looks like) and c.MP? (the anti-air headbutt)
Her s.MP(?) looks like Giefās s.MP minus the range, but it combos into s.HP. Looks like she can get big damage off almost anything.
Yep, her crouching strong is the headbutt. A friend of mine tells me that it was not good in SFZ3 but here, it seems really decent. Her crouching Fierce looks a lot like her old Crouching Fierce (a simili crouching leaping shoulder tackle). I donāt know if it is as good as in Alpha.
Youāre right again (or we are both wrong ) Standing MP is her backhand/atemi and it combos into Standing HP or Forward MP.
The crouching normal on the first video around 1:51ā¦ her crouching HP. Appears to roll forward after the move.
A tad off topic: Is it just me or did they change Chun Liās face again? ā¦ Probably just me.
(Second video)
4:31 - R. Mika just did that moonsaultā¦ again. What is that supposed to be? This happened also in an early video where R. Mika performed this particular jump after her f+MP swing.
(Third video)
Drop kick really does give pretty decent advantage on block and on hit. Utilizing it for pressuring the opponent is recommended.
Scissors Kick punished by command grab.
R. Mika can easily change the trajectory of her jump with jumping down+MP command move. Might also be good for baiting things up, such as a badly a timed shoryuken for example but this is hypothetical.
1:58 - Using V-Reversal on that scenario is going to require a bit of discretion. Then again, every other V-Reversal can be baited out.
5:31 - V-Skillā¦ R. Mikaās microphone may stuff some normals.
Maybe it was a reset. I can see the combo counter was still at 4 so it does seem like a hit. I was worried that her super would be weak because it seemed like Abel breathless U2 but if you can combo into it, the viability of it has increased tenfolds in my eyes.
If you mean a hit grab like Abels Super for example then i do not think so. That would make more sense if it was a 2QCF motion but a double HCF seems to emphasis that it is a throw. Perhaps it is just like NRS games where it is an unblockable command throw that you could also hit with. I remember Grundy having something like that in Injustice.
Thatās never been a Capcom thing and I donāt really expect them to change it here. Even the comboable air grabs in IV werenāt grabs at all, but hit-grabs that only hit air-to-air.
Didnāt SFxT have grabs you could combo into or was I dreaming?
Iām seeing Combofiend tick into her CA and people getting scooped, and I havenāt seen her CA get blocked once whenever heās done it rawā¦ Iām pretty sure itās just a grab you can combo into. Itās been done in other games I donāt think the concept is too crazy for them to implement.
I think it has been posted before but watching the trailer in slow motion is really awesome. You can really catch every small detail and the animations are outstanding.
A bit late to respond but I think in the case of R Mika ācomboingā into her grab CA isnāt really a true combo. I think he was doing a reset, but because they just went back to the main menu before the first āhitā could be applied and the combo counter could increment, we really canāt tell until we get hands on the character
Did a bit of research: It could be Junko Takeuchi, who did the voices for Gon in the classic Hunter X Hunter series, Naruto in general, as well as R Mika from SFA3
The voice actress for Gon in the 2011 series is Megumi Han, who it could also be, I definitely hear Gon in how R Mika sounds.
