R.Mika Combo/Tech Thread: "Pull Out All The Stops!"

2 small things regardant post above.

1 Nevers use vtrigger against necali to punish stomp if he has super. He will juste cancel stomp into super.

2 hitbox is not the same if oponent is crouching or standing. That is why the two Step before cr hp will not be a meaty if opponent guard crouching.

Not sure if this is a new mixup or not but here ya go really ambiguous with the f.mks on cross up irish whip. (its not shown in the video but it does cross up as well) on non cross up irish whips you can do that set up shown in the video.

Works for mid screen irish whips only

MARN R.Mika tech so good, god dude it’s soo good, so good!!

What’s going on in this video? Sorry im a noob to Mika but it seems that he sends the opponent then presses middle kick after the vtrigger? What am I supposed to see? Thanks.

He’s doing that for timing/spacing so that when he hits with c.hp he could land in either front or the back.

anyone know how good this mixup is?

k, maybe I am missing something but how do you get fmp throw to corner bounce from mid screen?

Back dash and they will bounce off the screen

I’d rather use this, as you get more damage off the normals.

Cool anti-V-Reversal tech by Fubarduck.

I can’t seem to get the timing right on that cr. hp cross under. I can hit & stay in the front but I can’t hit and go under. Any tips?

Discovered a 4f safe jump setup off Crush Counter cr.HK. Setup is CC cr.HK, whiff st.HP, nj.HK. Against characters with 5f or slower reversals, Mika can do CC cr.HK, dash forward, whiff cr.LP, nj.HP instead to put herself closer to the opponent.

What the hell did he do at 1:05?

These command throw resets are done right after a passion press (fMP) and are best after a nadeshiko mixup.

Most opponents will assume you will follow up with the Passion Rope Throw after the fMP, thus they will continue to block. This gives Mika the perfect opportunity to land an EX Rainbow Typhoon.

The great thing about this is that it resets the damage scaling and it most likely will stun/kill the opponent. (when done after a nadeshiko mixup)

I’ve had great success using this new tech. Hope it can be of use to some of you.

Front Side Nadeshiko Reset

Cross Under Nadeshiko Reset

oh and here are some clips of me doing these in real matches.

Now thats fucking retarded!

Here are some mid mid screen crush counter command throw resets.

I am always amazed at how much damage Rainbow Typhoon does. lol.

Using the neutral Nadeshiko command

Using left/right Nadeshiko command

corner Passion Press fHPxxbNadeshiko, cMP is such a godlike set up in the corner. There are setups for just about every occasion.

bonus death mixup

The first reset in your first video isn’t optimal. Instead of doing that st.MP->st.MP, back Nadeshiko hit, j.HP combo, you can do st.MP->st.HP, back Nadeshiko hit, f.HP, cr.MP for 311 damage and 480 stun.

EDIT: Fuudo showed off a new optimal DP punish combo beginning at the 1:36 mark. Combo is delayed neutral Nadeshiko, CC f.HP, charged st.HK, Nadeshiko hit, charged st.HK, EX Wingless Airplane and does a massive 444 damage and 620 stun.

Optimal punish indeed. Having a bit of trouble hitting it consistently with the opponent cornered and against Cammy at all (due to the different angles her DPs take she may or may not fly over your head). Suggestions for either or both issues would be appreciated.
