cr.HP jc j.MP should work as well IIRC.

So would you guys say Juri is a pretty link heavy character? Because I’m so bad at them :[
Also, I get the corner combos, but what are you guys using for an easy mid screen combo, and how much damage are you guys getting out of it?

I go with one my favorites from Super being that I don’t have to FADC to do it now.

Pretty much that. When it comes to midscreen combos, having fuhajins stored will give you the most practical and damaging combos. It’s a lot easier than Super too cause of the minimal knockback on those fuhajins. Ending with MK or HK Senpusha doesn’t really matter. MK Senpusha is just more versatile, being able to super after it and being more reliable when you end up in the corner

Speaking of impractical combos. Here’s a nice swag combo I’m developing with some kazuya tech on my mind. Works on standing Hugo only. Haha. Maybe others. Haven’t tried it. Test this.

J.hp, c.hp jc, j.hp, s.mp xx high fireball > c.hp jc, j.hp, s.mp xx mid fireball > c.hp jc, j.hp, s.mp xx low fireball > c.hp xx hk pinwheel > c.hp jc, j.hp, sc.hp

Or instead of the final jc j.hp you could do dive kick. I’m not to sure about the ender… Tired. Have fun

What do you mean?

2HP jc divekick x2 works midscreen, not sure if there is an easier way but I use the LK divekick with a jump forward and try to activate the divekick as late as possible (to connect near the end of the 2HP hitstun). You can slightly walk forward after the divekick too, to move Juri closer to connect the 2nd 2HP but not always nescessary.

This punish when tag cancelled is weaker than simply 2HP xx HK Senpusha when you have 1bar to tag cancel with the Juri/Cammy combos due to the early damage reduce caused by the 2 divekicks.

You can also connect 2HP jc instant j.MP xx Dive on Hugo, or Fuhajin release > instant j.MP xx Dive.

Just a small tip: If you ever find yourself having to use pandora to get juri in. Even with 0 starting meter, if you land cr.mk xx mk pinwheel as soon as you come in you’ll always have enough meter to link her super afterwards. In addition her super is one of the shorter ones in the game so it has a good chance of finishing before pandora runs out.

I had thought that Juri with the benefit of 30% power increase via partners Pandora sacrfice during a wallbounce like say Ryu’s Ex donkey kick, sacrfice bringing Juri while the opponent is still in the air, Cr. Hp xJcx J. Hp Cr.mk xx Mk Senpusha xx Super Art would be absolutely killer!
But I’m still working on getting the Jc to J. Hp down. I can do the dive kick just fine but for some reason the J. Hp rarely connects. I’ll get it though.

Even with all of that I still don’t recommend using pandora period. If you combo into it, maybe on very few circumstances. Otherwise there’s so many ways to get around it plus the fact that if you drop your combo or time it wrong you can kiss that W goodbye

When you charge senpusha and then cancel after the spark. The next hit is a counter hit. I was wondering if anyone has done anything good with counter hit fuhajin stores yet. I got one to land in match but I didn’t really know what to do besides a basic cr.mk or st.mp bnb

Here is the swag combo for Hugo. You can use it how you want. You can definately use 1 rep of this in match and I think its quite practical

Thanks! After some more training I can do it in the corner 100% of the time, midscreen maybe 10%. Progress is being made though and I’ll have it down soon.

Doing cr.HP x jc. dive, cr.HP x jc. dive, cr.MP x fireball store, cr. MP x pinweel in the corner is awesome. (or even tacking on super for some fat damage)

The reason I want to learn this combo midscreen (regardless of damage) is I’m an Oro main in 3s and it’s sort of like his bnb. I’m liking Juri a lot and I think I’ll keep at it and pair her with Hugo.

Hey man thanks for sharing this. That will definitely help vs the Hugo matchup. 540 meterless damage is extremely good and seems super easy to do even for a triple fireball store combo. Even with 2 fuhajins you could probably do around 500 damage so it’s pretty good.

The timing is strict but it’s hard because you’re holding 3 fireballs.

I don’t have 3 fireballs useful but as a punish or a jump in we’re talking a lot of meterless damage… Anywhere on the screen.

What are some easy/short combos for a starter Juri user? All I’m doing right now is pretty much using jumping mp or mk and some kicks after to hit confirm then use specials, but I really don’t know how to do anything else D:
