Joon, what is the purpose of the nj.FP?
I’m trying to absorb as much as I can for this matchup.
Probably stop any air attempts Akuma makes with demon flip shenanigans.
I really like the option select dps and tatsus into the light normals, not enough people do that including me.
Gotta play people that will give you a reason to do those OS’s in the first place. If you’re still in Austin those OSes will def come in handy.
I have to say that FT10 was a true master class in the use of Option Selects.
A real joy to watch.
It also made me think about what other situations where OS’ed jab DP might be useful…

Might trade with EX crusher or EX scissors. Prob beats EX SBK but I don’t think it covers Chun’s broken backdash.

^ I don’t think I ever saw you anti-air him, and you weren’t really using your cr. mk very well or even that much for that matter. You were playing it kinda right as in you weren’t chasing him at least. Just think of it this way, for every second that he’s in on you keeping you guessing your chance of winning goes down. Keep him out stand at ranges where his fierce will whiff so you can sweep punish and then hurt him with mix ups. Oh, and don’t throw so many risky mid-screen fire balls that’s bad.
