0:14 Vega grabs my pinwheel even though I canceled it⌠why? Also round two his grab totally overrided mine, ???
Some of the hits of the Pinwheel didnât connect because of the spacing, you need to be closer to hit a MK Pinwheel after a c.LK - and in some cases, it whiffs some hits anyways.
As for the second round grab, either you tried to grab him while his hitstun was still active or it was just Juriâs crappy grab range - nothing a kara grab wouldnât fix.

As for the pinwheel you were at the absolute max range for your pinwheel. The last hit whiffed. He threw you.

Hey all, I put this in the Q/A thread however for the sake of keeping things in order I wanted to show this in the Video thread in case someone missed it there (or theyâre looking for videos).
Heres a video I put together showing seth getting fuzzy guarded after FADC. This sounds too good to be true. WellâŚthere are some weirdnessâs to this setup. Sometimes it crosses up and sometimes ex.dive doesnt hit full. However, its fun to think about. Please prove me wrong on this, asâŚI dunnoâŚsounds really deadly. It could be like an instant kill on seth (almost) during a match. Seems a little tight to hit really.

Rush makoto down. You backed up in a corner then used your meter advantage to escape. You didnât anti air, used no tick throws, no feng shui. You used an unsafe pinwheel at the end and then used an even more unsafe pinwheel to bail you out.
I think retiring isnât a good idea. I think really re-evaluating your style and goals on a turn by turn level is your best option.
I won because I guessed correctly. I knew he was going to press something after my MK Senpu and EX beats every normal clean. Unless he was mashing jab, which nobody does anyway. Itâs something that Iâve used before, and generally it works pretty well. People are almost always inclined to press something after a blocked MK senpu.
Lets think about it for a moment, what tools does Makoto have to prevent me from doing that? Being that it was blocked the were a pretty big distance away, the fastest anything Mak has is her LP dash punch and well, that wasnât going to do it. I think even if she Ultraâd after with reversal timing the pinwheel wouldnât have even come out.

im sorry but this further proves to me how unimpressive so called âtopâ Juri players are. Sorry if i come off as sounding egotistic / elitist (which i try not to be), but I am honestly not impressed with any top Juri that Ive seen so far. Not Neo, not the JP players. The only person who has shown me gameplay that I can honestly say is solid and that i respect was Ed Ma at WcW3, and even that was lukewarm. I wasnt very inspired.
I dont mean to put any of yall on blast because your all part of the Juri family, but things need to be stepped up. This is just sad.
