lol in the side pane of youtube under suggestions for your first video there was a thumbnail of a dude passed out on a toilet, i watched that video which was called Never Drink to Much instead and what a mistake that was…
edit: now that ive watched your videos, if i could give some advice…work on your punishs, you had FSE on and had all the time in the world to punish that whiffed U1, and in the end a cr.hp xx hk pinwheel wouldve done better.
Also stop doing so many counters and stop doing so many unsafe divekicks.
OH yes, I saw this and was shocked. It made me double take and rethink if i’ve ever seen that. Nope. It made me think if anything changed on her hitboxes but from what I think it probably was the end of her active hitbox on the first pass and it deactivated before it could carry ibuki up.
So it was surprising but with Vanilla Super in mind I probably could see that happening.
dunno that dude (whoever he is, hes always on the A-cho vidz) plays a pretty solid juri, id think he might have done U2 with the purpose of AA ing Ibuki with it, even though its a well known fact you cant. Im hoping they buffed U2 in some way or another, i really am, i cant see it being left alone during more development time…its that bad.
lol round 1 he baited my ex pinwheel, can’t believe i fell for that. It’s okay I baited that charge move and returned the favor with a neutral jump fierce sweep
on round 2 did Rog jump over the fireball and it missed him or does it have invinsibility frames (it wasn’t ex tho) made me eat an ultra… AGAIN . Also on round 2 I grabbed his ex headbutt? I can do that? Why?
oh last thing, i turned sound effects off. It sounds hilarious this way. Does Juri say “damn” when she takes damage?
first off, his headbutts can go over fireballs, so ur gonna have to do fuzzy guard fbs if ur gonna release them. and 2nd, dont know, im guessing it prolly doesnt have throw invincibility or its due to lag or something.
the only words she says when hit is “why you”. the others are just her screaming
this video sheds light on the different ways fuhajins could be use to increase damage and stun output as well as maintain pressure on the opponent. the video is split into 3 parts: part I covers the potential of linking fuhajins aside from the traditional followup with normals. part II covers the different ways to land meaty fuhajins after knockdown to give you more frame advantage to land things that wouldnt connect normally. part III covers ways of landing MID fihajins after knockdown to force a fuzzy guard situation on wakeup (this part was inspired by Big Nasty Kail’s vid - link in vid)
BONUS: keep on the lookout for the bonus combo at the end of the vid, its not as simple as it seems if you know your frames and inputs.

this video gives some insight on how to successfully land ultra 2 (kaisen dankairaku) . it covers basic to more advanced ways to land it, as well as gives insight on when to use it as an anti-air as well as some ways to counter some specials.
you didnt grab him out of EX headbutt, it was an EX Dash Upper. Pause the video and youll see. all headbutts are throw invulnerable / upper body strike invulnerable. its common knowledge that you can throw rog out of his dash punches.
IMO, it seems like you throwing too many lk pins without reason…i saw you throw 2 lk pins back to back a few times…that really dangerous, especially against rog.
when you and rog arent in each others face, make sure youre constantly aware of his ex meter / if hes holding charge. if hes holding charge and has EX meter, you can safely approach by throwing low EX / mid EX fireballs and following them. if you dont have meter, dont throw fireballs. its just asking for him to EX rush punch > cr.lk > headbutt > possible ultra. thats a huge risk for not much reward. if he doesnt have meter, feel free to simply stick out cr.mk’s while buffering lk pinwheel. if he dash punches, hell get stuffed + combo’ed with lk pin.
be careful after you land a pinwheel on rog. unless it knocks him down, i suggest simply blocking to see what hes going to do. theres no harm in it. you may not keep your momentum, but its a hell of a lot better than eating a hit confirm > ultra. rogs normals are faster and have more priority. always respect the jab.
I commend you on not divekicking. Many Juri players do this too much and its especially risky vs anyone with a 3 frame jab
6)that rog didnt feel really comfortable / familiar with the juri matchup. honestly, I dont think a lot of the stuff you got away with would fly vs a competent opponent. sorry if it sounds harsh, im just tryin to be real with you.
cr.mk his wakeup when he doesnt have meter ! ITS FREE. besides, you get a free fireball store out of it, if you want.
if you see him sitting on charge, DONT neutral jump. if you do, a lot of the time its a free HP headbutt for him. that shit reaches deceptively far.
^^ just what i gathered from watching that vid. please dont take my criticism the wrong way, i dont mean it to be hurtful. Im just trying to consolidate my thoughts and present them to you in a manner that is concise and unbiased. no bullshit.
I honestly dont mean to be a prick…but a lot of that seems like a lot of waste of meter…
“Part 1” is a lot of common knowledge
the fuzzy guards are some nice setups, but the reward is kinda situational.
All in all, its a great video for someone who is new to Juri, but IMO, a lot of the stuff there is impractical in competitve matches simply due to meter management. Most people would rather save a bar of EX than spend it to land 1 more hit of an low EX fuhajin juggle.
Regardless, nice vid for people who dont know that stuff. I learned a few fuzzy guard setups from this as well. I dont know if I’ll use them in competitive matches, but the knowledge cant hurt.
i was thinking of going through the whole cast and list all the punishes i know for every character. but it would have taken forever and i would have exceeded my upload limit as well. i intend to do a series of matchup videos when i get a few things out of the way (working on a mixup/blockstring vid… still on paper tho)… also i still think i should wait on those matchup vids because AE is just around the corner and i dont have access to AE in london yet. plus with all the talk i keep getting from people about this and that being basic or impractical, i realized that after i post what i know or find out it seems that alot of people dont really have a clue about it which is why i think its essential to cover the basics first. i dont plan on covering ultra 1 any time soon because theres enough crap on it all over the internet (plus i dont really like it because i prefer guarenteed damage… and i like my stun meter to stay active). like i said before, juri is a work in progress for me … so i upload what i find as i go…
meaty setups are definately worth it and it frustrates the hell out of opponents because unlike meaty normals you’re 100% safe. and most of the time they would need to burn an EX to get out of trouble. Fuzzy guard setups seem to create more pushback and have a higher potential for causing counter hits (or so ive experienced online)… plus they have that same effect meaty setups have when it comes to the pressure game.
i hope you dont mind Kail i linked your video in part 3 when i mentioned fuzzy guard because credit goes to you for that 1st inspiring setup
