Hey guys, I want to have another meeting like the time before at the end of the week, but with more people. I’m not 100% good with facebook but I thought it would notify people if I wrote on the Purdue Fighting Game alliance group wall but it obviously didn’t or people just weren’t interested.
I know Jackie said she would be willing to do it tues & thurs during the week, but everyone else thought mainly the weekend or didn’t have an answer. What day/time is everyone available? If you can or can’t go you should still spread the word.
BTW I’m picking up Rachel Alucard since shes the top tier char I like the best (shes a vampire with a totoro for a bean bag??) in BB and I’m gonna try and learn the combos with the strategies you guys were talking about while playing, so I’ll be playing BB & SF4 mainly then.
How was the gathering? How many people were there? I’m still busy with stuff at the moment, but I still check this thread every now and then. If I find the time, I wanna see if I can check out one of these sessions. Anyone know if KOF12 netcode is better now? Wanted to pick it up, but heard the netcode was shitty so that stopped me.
I’ve heard KOFXII is just a shitty game, period. I was talking to a guy who played KOFXI at the Union and he basically told me the same thing. Consensus seems to be it sucks.
I bought it this summer and tried the online play and it really sucked. But someone @ an Indianapolis casual session said they released a patch for the netcode. I think its just for the PS3 atm… but its supposed to make it near as good as sfiv online. I’ll still keep the game but it’ll be a while till I learn it.
We had about 3 people show up to the first one. 4th couldn’t make it until the last 10 minutes so he just didn’t show. I still think that was a pretty good showing though since it was the first time and it was scheduled the night before at 11 pm. I’d really like more people to come next time!!

Looks like they turn their apartment into an arcade every thursday where anyone can show up. I’d be willing to do that at my place on the most accessible night of the week for purdue ppl. The idea seems really nice so people can get to know each other really fast and then just get down to gaming.

Yeah, I really would like to have one this weekend, just no one has said anything either. I’d even like to have one tomorrow. But I wanna start having sessions on thursday night like them since its close to the weekend, but it won’t conflict with most people’s “night life”, and me personally I don’t have class till 1:30 on fridays, so it’d be really nice. whadya think bout that
I’ve got morning classes on all weekdays so I’ld prefer weekends. I can do just about any time tho, as long as it’s not Wednesday night.

Ah I got some lab lab practical tomorrow, from 1:30-3:30 in this MS office class lol. If it wasnt a practical id be done in time for a few games before my 4:30 class :/. After 5:20 im good to go though.
