Didn’t take you long to politicize this.
Can’t let a good tragedy go to waste i guess…

I think I love you. It’s nice to see someone who understands just how deep into escapism America as a whole seems to be.
The joys of misanthropy and cynicism.
**Edit: **Also, the whole deal with Fox and anything is lulzy. But, damn. I **REALLY **hate when video games are some sort of fall back/tangible reasoning for these tragic events. If that were the case, we’d all be gun totin’ psychopaths murdering each other for shits and giggles. Seriously. If I wanna go kill something, I’ll join the Armed Forces, thank you very much.
Accessibility and awareness of mental illness needs to be addressed and not ignored so that we can try to buffer these sort of incidences from happening. People are too quiet when they notice things are a bit “out of whack” in a person. You don’t need to be an expert to tell when someone seems “different” that usual. People can be quirky and weird… But when an extroverted people turns into a recluse, etc… Those are things to look for and report.
Getting therapy isn’t something to be afraid of. I had to learn that and it’s my damn major. But, therapy has been so stigmatized, that, people would rather not report it to anyone and cases like this fall through the cracks of society and come up when shit hits the fan.
Rinse and repeat.
we are easier to control when we aren’t even identifying what we are up against and instead fighting amongst ourselves for scraps of society
i personally will never forget those 2. all i remember from that day was being in class in CO when hearing that horror story and thinking to myself, that could have been my highschool (was a freshmen).
also can i just take this time to point out to people that gun control does not equal gun ban… as others have pointed out here the vast majority of gun owners are responsible owners, doesn’t mean we can’t work on our background checks along with mental health laws. gun control =/ gun ban
Its kinda like having to explain to people that humans are actually insanely peaceful and we resolve an extraordinary amount of conflicts without any type of violence. Does that matter? Nope; humans are obviously all warfaring pieces of shit or something or other.
I don’t own any guns. I own SO MANY swords, though. Like, a ton of swords. They are all over my walls. They speak to me in the night. I hear them, singing softly in my dreams. They call out to me; asking, no, demanding to be held. I feel their thirst. It is overwhelming. The steel thirsts. The steel thirsts.
I’m disappointed, Ryan Lanza has too many friend requests right now to accept mine.
These things always sadden me, the fact they are children makes it worse.
Read the link. It mentions how stabbings and deaths in the schools have been a problem because of the lack of health care in China as well as the race to be #1 in the world causing stress especially to the mentally ill. It’s not just 1 case, but multiple cases in China. A knife you can get anywhere and do some damage because you are catching people off guard, same can be said about any sharp or blunt object and a gun.
As goodmourning posted: we already of plenty of laws for gun control, they are just enforced half-assed. Making new ones isn’t going to make them just as half-assed.
Ryan Lanza. Stay free lol!
22 School Children were Stabbed Today (Friday Dec-14-2012) in Wenshu township in the city of Xinyang in China. The attack happened at the gate of a primary school in central China’s Henan province, the authorities said. Are they going to ban knives now? Its people who kill people…
All BS aside, its not important how many people were killed, why it happened or the politics involved. The only thing that matters if that we mourn and pray for the lives that were taken. And hopefully take the neccessary steps to avoid incidents like this in the future.
Its all we can really do at this point
Wow, even The Onion posted a serious piece about it.
The Onion.
Think about that for a second:
More and more people need to realize that School is one of the most scariest places on earth to leave your child alone with.
Things need to ****ing change after hear shootings like this.
School can be a scary place without people bringing guns.
People who don’t care anyomore are going to do whatever they want and go down shooting or kill themself in the end anyway. Giving everyone else a gun full time is not a workable way to handle these situations, as it just ends in a much larger number of minor disputes now being settled by guns during the time everyone is waiting for the extraodinarily unlikely to happen.
If you don’t think things like this are terrifying you are completely unaware of human nature.

Also Saikyo style can you Pleeeeease delete that post before someone quotes it. SMH
Violence is the source of alot if not all of our problems.
And the media is ducking responsibility already w/ tweets like “Police now say…”
welcome to America. The only place where shooting massacres happen a couple days apart from each other.
One more time: humans resolve 99% of their conflicts without violence but w/e.
