Im a huge Protoman fan (favorite character in the series, along with metalman) so I had to throw him in. If i was making a predicition, id switch protoman and Wily. Hed probably play something like pokemon trainer from smash bros series, him being in the background and cotrolling minions…or they could just put him in an awesome transforming Wily Skull. Dude, id love Megaman.exe in MVC3. A new, unexpected chaarcter with a HUGE selection of moves available (every chip could be a move!)

Why is this in the Tron thread? This belongs in either the speculation or request thread, especially since we’re bound to have a flood of new info come TGS.
I hadn’t used her in MvC2 until the other day against my friend, he was raging bad when I kept using that drill-rush into him like a motherfucker. (no homo) So yeah, bring on the troll-train. Consider me hype for Tron Bonne.
Servbot is rather a joke character in MvC2, obviously. You’re really not going to come close to beating anyone good with him: he just doesn’t have the maneuverability, range, damage output, or defense. All he has going for him is that he’s small and hard to hit. His King Kobun super, for example, is most typically suicide. Given the current game mechanics of MvC3, it’d seem pretty likely that he would get further destroyed in that turtley play style. Beating someone with him is more insulting than beating them with Dan.
I hope Tron’s Roundhouse rock makes it into the game. Can’t wait to see footage of Miss Bonne. :tup:
Capcom could have just given him a couple buffs
+increased damage output
+more stamina
+comboable supers
Servbot is hands down the best joke character of all time, if capcom wanted him to be a serious contender i would have thrown in a playable king servbot. So i can smack people around with his lego hammer!
i liked using him in mvc2, of course with the help of tron projectile assist.
a few pages back, you were complaining about the use of tron’s projectile assist, and now you claim to use it. what is up with you. and wanting Servbot over Tron? I love the little guy too, but anyone can see that tron has more to work with and a more finished and usable playstyle than Servbot. like I said, i love the guy, but you’re crazy to want him in over Tron. if it makes you feel better, tron always has a servbot with her and uses him in a number of attacks, and has her own USABLE king servbot.

I actually went to the training room last night and I tested T. Bonne’s anti air on a stationary Iceman. It went over his head, but didn’t hit him on the way down. Same with Cable.
I don’t know what the deal is, but if it didn’t hit on the way up, it should hit if it makes contact on the way down. Think of it like an antiair fireball, but when it hits, only the hitbox dissapears rather than the hitbox and the fireball.
He already has that. And even if you’re using Kobun-Y, there’s a couple nice links that set that up for max chip.
What Maca said, plus: it’s an antiair, not a ground attack. Both of her guns really rely upon tricking them/outguessing them, as opposed to being always useful.
If you throw out capture gun randomly, you’ll die. Use it deceptively. Same with copter.
yeah, that shiz is punishable as hell, I’d love to see capture gun sped up just a little bit.
I’m hoping for a 3rd angle for the capture gun in MvC3, somewhere between her MvC2 LP and HP capture gun. that way, even though its punishable as hell, it can be aimed just about anywhere on screen, wheras her current one has that HUGE hole in the upper corner on the other side of the screen.
Tron’s lame, plus servbot is more popular then tron, so why not just put him instead, plus capcom can just buff him. And the only reason i use tron’s lame assist is to help my beloved servbot, other than i can care less about her. Heck the only time i even use tron is when i feel like using servbot and that is only cuz servbot is underpowered. If he wasnt overpowered i would have never even bothered looking at her.
And she’s only used for that assist, since i know capcom is obviously going to nerf or replace that assist watch the amount of tron users serverly drop when mvc3 arrives and you’ll see my point.
