Isn’t Cammy vs. Rufus 5-5, while Rose vs. Rufus is 6-4 in Rufus’s favor? If he does make a permanent switch to Rose, that would be pretty interesting.
There’s no way Sako switches to Rose full time, there’s no way. At most, he might use Rose like Arturo where he’ll use her for most of the tourney, then switch to Cammy for the really important matches.
It’s more for an unorthodox CP.
I don’t see Sabin really using Rose at majors too much unless it’s a cp like Abel and C. Viper.
At Guard Crushes, sure, but he’s played those people 1 billion times just about.
Sako should’ve won the 2nd match after Justin whiffed the EX Jesus kick. All he had to do was run in, cr.Fierce into Super and it’d been over.
Should’ve, could’ve, would’ve, but didn’t.
Justin should’ve won the first round of the second match with a wakeup ultra , but he didn’t do it.

I’m not an expert of Rose but they don’t seem as good as the Rose vs Wong’s Rufus.

Some things I noticed from the Rose player:
-He was a bit too reliant on the slide.
-Didn’t really do too many properly spaced Spirals, therefore getting punished in the process.
-Could have switched up her pokes a bit (it was clear c.mp was the most frequently used poke).
In the Bison match he goes for cl.MP, cr.LK, cr.MP link instead of the “easier” link directly into cr.MP; he realizes that Bison blocked the cl.MP (and did a reversal scissor kick between MP and LK) so he stops the string before doing the cr.MP. The cr.LK whiffs entirely under the scissor startup but recovers in time to block it.
These little details show how godlike he’s going to be if he moves to Rose

Sakura usually does ok with this match up (IMHO 5-5), but that guy playing Rose wasnt playing safe at all.
Dude relied way too much on cr.mp and slide. Didn’t bother crossing up after the few knockdowns he had.

The do’s and don’ts of Rose vs Dhalsim
There’s been some talk about how to play against Dhalsim, and just this past weekend I fought 2 in a tournament. Despite both players using the same character, their styles were very different. Two things both of them had in common though were stretchy arms and bait tactics. I definitely didn’t play perfect, but from that I hope you learn as much as I have from watching these videos.

-This guy kind of makes Dhalsim look broken. I probably could’ve done more focus dashing forward, and I should have gone for pressure when I knocked him down. Played as Seth in the last match. It felt liberating in a sense after playing 2 runs of Rose vs Sim.

i know we’ve lacked rose footage during vanilla and through that we may have lost track of what was truely interesting, but please stop posting random and pointless videos just because it says “rose” in the title…
