woah idk about that lol. its just tournament nerves it happens to everyone. anyway i played today for the first time in about 1 1/2 weeks and i played some lame ass akuma who threw fireballs, got the life lead and ran away the whole time. i managed to win though. only on xbl
I played a couple of Akuma players online that follow the same exact strategy. They donât realize that Rose has the ability to reflect or absorb, making it a bit easier for her ;). Sometimes I chase them down, but usually I just sit back and make them approach.
i didnât have trouble i just hate the way online players play.
Indeed, thereâs always going to be people out there that care too much about points. Youâd be surprised how many people quit even in Free Battle on TvCâŚand that only displays win percentage. At least disconnections arenât as much as a problem on the PS3/360 compared to the Wii.
actually, that statement describes tournament play much more accurately than online play⌠for instance i find myself turtling more in tourneys than in online play, especially in single-match pool games.
yeah tournament play is getting the life lead and running awayâŚrightâŚ

I see more timeouts from tournament matches than I do on the replay channel.
Faceplam⌠you obviously donât go to tournaments then. i cant believe your using a vanilla honda turtle mirror match to prove a point. even if they take longer at tournaments its about footsies not BP.
This has got to be the stupidest possible thing Iâve ever seen you post. And Iâm not even referring to the video.
well, sometimes yes. tournament play is not only what you see in videos : the great majority of matches are played in pools, where you meet all kind of players, and itâs live or die there⌠you REALLY donât want to lose and you sometimes have to resort to âcheapâ tactics like hitân run (when playing characters that allow it).
online, i donât really feel that pressure and if i happen to lose a match, iâm just âmehâ.

Local Bi-Weekly Grand Finals: Ramen Addict(Adon) vs ShinkuuR(Rose). I was coming from the loserâs bracket, so I had to beat him two sets of 3.
I was playing RamenAddict online on PeacefulJay Stream
Pretty good Adon (H).
Alright guys, Iâve been going to tournaments since July in Eugene here, and now the tournament organizers are getting into video capturing matches, so I figure itâs a suitable time to out myself.
Say what you will about my technique, and the other players, but this is what weâve got so far, and weâre all growing and learning. Got to grand finals this time. Enjoy.

There was a bit of lag in some of the matches, so some of my executions got messed up.
Iâm almost completely done with converting all the videos from the training session yesterday; all the Rose-related videos will be put on here tomorrow (Sunday). I also recorded more online matches today, incorporating j.mk - c.hp - SS for cross-ups (getting more damage output rather than j.mk - c.mp - SS), and Soul Spark at the end of blockstrings. Doing so has led to positive results. Those will be put up tomorrow as well.

During the videos, you may see me making a quick message in the chatroom that was present from time to time, but I made it quick and short so it wouldnât get in the way of the videos too much.
All the matches from the PSN Rose Online Training Session held on October 22nd, are now up. You can view them here and here.
I use the Dazzle DVC 100, which transfers all the capture from the TV to the PC through a USB cable and A/V cable splitters.
some videos! I will eventually get a capture card. And get over 5k bpâŚ

another faceoff against lorddvdâs honda, i guess this video doesnt reflect the match-up too well since both players are starting to know each other far too muchâŚ

against renegadâs cammy, a boxer main player who recently switched. heâs pretty much on point with links and distances though : this vid reflects the matchup IMO.
