like rose abel has bad wake up options so you want to pressure him in a wake up game so he isnt doing the same to you.
if you think abel is going to TT use cl. st. mk its throw invulnerable and anything throw related will whiff against it. and yes you can throw abel out of his roll even ex so look for his rolls to punish them with throw so he wont do it anymore.
Just to add on, sc. mk stuffs EVERYTHING Abel does besides EX Change of Direction and Soulless.
So it’s fairly safe, but if he blocks, you’re at a 50/50 where he has the advantage.
so be careful and mix it up with rose, instant overheads, cross ups, and other pokes from different ranges.
I didn’t know you can throw Abel out of his roll… THE MORE YOU KNOW!

I haven’t play him in a long time and since it was being recorded I wanted to play Rose and not Boxer. I think this shows how tough Cammy can be for Rose. MarlinPie is simply disgusting. Rose just has to block. And Cammy’s normals are underrated. She has counter hit frame traps for days. Walk forward TKS?!

I pick Guile at first because I feel I understand that matchup better and I’ve done well playing top level Sagats as Guile. Though I really don’t understand how to play this matchup in Super with Rose. I feel Rose can play it lame unlike in vanilla. However, when I play I feel the need to be around st. hk range.
Of course the only videos they have of me I lose even though I got 5th lol. I don’t mind sharing them because they are both way better players than I am.

I saw your Rose on the stream last night, and it is a tough match-up for her against Cammy. Her TKCS gives Rose a lot of trouble. I never stand a chance against rushdown Cammy players.

I do usually use c.hp as anti air but I also like the mix up potential of sliding under them or backdash and a quick poke or what have you.
its been awhile since i posted some vids, mostly cuz i havent been playing rose much, but i thought i would upload some new stuff since im going to start entering local tournies, i just missed one =/ so hopefully in about a month and i will be using rose. also, i came across a pretty decent viper, i always have trouble with her flame kickin all over the place. as you will see i have difficulty figuring out which way to block when she does that on wake up and shit…so im workin on that. it was in an open endless lobby but eventually i just started kicking people so i could play him lol. these were the only matches we were using our characters after that we both were goin pretty random.

I managed to win all battles in 80 and 81, but lost twice in 82.
i notice when you play u still keep going for reversals or slides. i see you get the life lead at the start but because you never block you loose that. all you have to do is just block. also i see you always go for c.strong once or c.strong x2 into s.rh. after the second c.strong you can spiral since you made it safe to do so. if you get to predictable with the s.rh you can get focused.

Do I still really reversal that much? I honestly thought I was blocking a bit more on wake-up. If that is the case, I’m certainly not doing it as much now. When should I know when to use EX Soul Spiral or EX Soul Throw? My opponent could keep poking, and I could get baited out. I know that I sometimes do c.MP, s.MK, s.HK, or something where I’m doing the pattern consecutively. That’s something I’m currently trying to fix.

I’ve tried to implement more of Rose’s cl. MK, and it’s working pretty well. I have to be careful with using both standing and crouching roundhouse, because I did get punished a few times, especially when my crouching roundhouse whiffed. Enjoy!
