Fine example of great Rose usage. Tho I would certainly go Ultra2 against Cammy, if you can counter a divekick with UltrA Ultra2 would’ve hit too at least. Maybe it was for punishes of blocked SRK’s? Didnt happen. But he did land the EX FADC Ultra 1 at high level play 
Strange to see that even people with amazing execution mess up Rose Ultra 2 input, I mean that last round, you had to do it three times. Happens to me too and a lot more

Those games were amazing! Picked up a new way to apply pressure with U2 in the corner aswell. I just used to spam sparks as pressure. Cheers

I’ve tried incoporating a lot more FADC cancels and blockstrings, and they seem to be helping for the most part. If there are any tips that anyone wishes to tell me, feel free to let me know.

I can see your improvement with Rose, but I feel you’re losing to some awful players, like that Chun Li in Ranked Battles 15.

Edit: That Chun player was actually good, he/she did pretty well in corner pressure. I think one problem I have, is being too reliant on Soul Spark…
Don’t be afraid to rush her down and go for cross ups when she’s knocked down. And you went for a reversal something and you got stuffed with double fierce. Then you should focus Hazanshu. Don’t focus on her jump ins because of double fierce.
Also, you need to work on getting in those soul satellites more.
He’re some helpful tips on working on that.
Go to training mode and put in refill and go to the corner and do cr. hp spiral super then keep doing satellite.
Thank you, I’ll try those suggestions :). Normally when I use U2, sometimes I’m away from my opponent; I notice that this isn’t necessarily the best case scenario, especially if I dash forward and I get hit with a projectile. I noticed that I use a lot of spacing moves with Rose, and sometimes my opponent responds with focus attacks. How should I approach this? Should I attempt to punish with Soul Spiral or a throw as quickly as possible, or should I do a quick backdash and use s.HK? (Hypothetically, I’m assuming that it could vary.)

Those were good videos. You did a good job capturing Cammy out of her Cannon Spikes at times with Soul Throw. One thing that I particularly noticed was that you used Aura Soul Spark on its own. That’s not really safe, and it can leave you vulnerable. You should connect it right after successfully hitting your opponent with Soul Spiral. Cammy is not an easy match-up for Rose, especially if the Cammy user is a very offense-based player.

I just watched the videos, and your Rose was pretty good. You did great with zoning, anti-airs, and you seemed to have the c.lp-c.lk-c.mp-SS combo intact every single time. I personally have trouble with it (the game registers my combo as 2 separate 2-hit combos instead). In the match-up against Guile, I think that you are supposed to force Guile to approach you(I don’t have too much knowledge on this match-up, sorry). Be careful when you are using Soul Spiral against Guile, because it’s not safe on block against him(he can punish with an uppercut, like what happened in one of those videos). Against Sagat, I noticed that you tried to reflect a lot of the Tiger Shots he threw at you. It’s really tricky to reflect those projectiles, because they are fired at you with different speeds. Instead of trying to reflect, try to approach. If he throws a Tiger Shot and you are within jumping range, you can punish him. While trying to approach him, be careful of his Tiger Uppercut, and any anti-airs that he throws at you. I noticed that you could have punished some of your opponents with Aura Soul Spark after successfully hitting them with Soul Spiral. Did you not use it because you wanted to save meter?

A lot of the times It just didn’t come out. The screens there have massive lag and combos are hard to do. Earlier before the tournament I was failing the clp, clk, cmp, ss combo as well.
Next time I will just be mashing it and not try and time it. But sometimes I did just want to save meter.
