One of the Champ matches that my friend uploaded. Granted the abel wasn’t…good. I’ve had better matches with Rose. Soon i’ll get some junk to record my matches.

Don’t worry, I started changing it up more, I did have a laugh at it though, I still cant believe I never noticed myself doing that every round, I have to be more aware of my stupid newb patterns.
I also took note of my jumping problems, for some reason I had the habit to jump for no apparent reason, just because… well, things will change, but a big LOL @ back dash SS. I appreciate the fact that you pointed it out even though it was the most obvious pattern…

Ok, well, people seem to enjoy vids no matter the quality, so here goes. Feel free to come post comments if you’d like to help me improve.
My first actual tournament victory, me trying out some drunken master, and playing horribly against a Ryu who isn’t playing well either. Probably nothing to be learned or taught here, but i uploaded it accidentally, so why not. [Edit: I just rewatched this. Just a terrible, terrible match. Particularly the first round. I suppose it’s notable for me being hit out of ultra in a way I didn’t expect.]

A reasonably interesting vega fight, I’d love to have better solutions to wall dives. I win with a stupid trick that should not have led to victory, I’m sure he felt dumb.

I’ll try to post one every 500 GP or so if anyone takes an interest in helping me get better, provided xbl lets me. 
Focus his dives then punish him. That Vega was terrible but you kept falling for his dive crossup. You could have easily won that match instead of struggling if you learn to focus his dives. You have to let them know their is going to be consequences for repeated moves and you dropped the ball there that is why he went dive crazy against you because he knew there was nothing for him to worry about.

I decided to test out this camera I had laying around the house and recorded some matches while playing random people in G2 online. The quality of the video(and the fights) aren’t the best, but you’ll be able to see just fine. I’ll try to upload some more when I play some SRK regulars.
If anyone knows a cheap way to record feeds from the PS3 to your computer to record, let me know
props to you shinkuur, those were good matches.
next time try to also upload some of your losses against stronger opponents : personnally i tend to learn FAR more from those (they usually show patterns that don’t work).
I need to play some stronger opponents first! I tried to hit up a couple of people who I know would take away some matches from me, but they were busy with other stuff.:mad:
I’ll upload a couple more today that I took sometime yesterday…I think there should be a couple losses on that set.

Here are three more matches that I recorded the other day: 2 of them with a pretty decent Abel(we get green bars so hells yeah to that), and one with a Gen who beat my ass. A solid Gen causes all types of problems for Rose(at least for me :mad:)

I probably won’t be playing again till the weekend so I’ll have some more matches then, Hopefully against a solid Gief and Jibbo(solid ass Gen).
those abel fights were great ! especially the last rounds of the two, you put a heavy pressure both times.
and i find gen weird, 'cause the playstyle changes so much between players, it’s hard to find a working pattern…
With Gen as secondary myself I often confuse myself with him He’s kind of versatile with his split personality. It can get weird very fast when you are mixing it up.

A lot of championship matches on 5-5-09:
it’s funny how you must be one of the only roses who doesn’t use slides psycho. it often adds an element of surprise, and it’s safe from a lot of different ranges.
on another topic, maybe you should try to select a bit before you upload vids, like a “best bouts” kind of thing instead of just throwing 4 hours of rose vids. i can see your point, 'cause you name all your opponents (which is nice if they want a vid of them on youtube), the character they use (if watchers are interested in specific match-ups) and the round of the tournament it occured in (to check amount of pressure). but still, would be nice to know in advance if some bouts were actually “very interesting” or “random poking ryu got perfected”…

I really enjoyed your matches against Gief ShinkuuR. Reminds me how it’s hard to win against gief with rose. u need to do 500 combos to get a round, take a risk at every attempt; then gief do 2 3 combo / 1 combo + ultra = gg.
