I’ve been experimenting a bit yesterday and found that EX spark then FADC really opens a lot of possibilities. In the video I tend to use C MP afterwards but thats the easy way (you have lots of frames to link that, so it’s safe). You can even sweep after EX spark, FADC which means there is a crazy amount of frames available (at least 9). So already better whould be to:
-> EX spark, FADC, S HK, HK drill
but Saqs vid also show the even harder option:
-> EX spark, FADC, S MP, C MP, MK drill (that’s an FADC and a 1-frame link in there).

There are no mix-ups however in there. It would be interesting to have a video about that. But if you play Ryu constantly like I do, you kind of get tired to mixup in reversal SRK’s My most important mix-up is to stop and block during a string
About 1-frame links: well, are there more? These are the only two I see used frequently. There is a version wihtout EX tho:
-> C LP, C LK, C MP, MK drill
But I find it hard to always connect it. Maybe a different version of drill, like HK drill.

Way too many slides Luff. Great use of s.hk. And also I know its tough but you HAVE to start thinking about punishing full/mid screen headbutts on reaction with Ultra when you see him in d/b…

I use a bit of c.lk c.hp xx spark in my game as a way to catch people mashing out jabs or option selecting throws with good success.
EVERY SO OFTEN, against everything I thought I knew, I will see 3-hit combo pop onto the screen. Any one willing to test properties of this in these particular cases?
vs Sagat (large chars), corner only, counter hit or combonation of the 3
Not sure what’s going on, and haven’t really tested it solely for the fact that regardless of combo or not, it’s original purpose is still working.
Will give it a test when I have access to my game again, but any extra research would be appreciated.
Doesn’t work on counter hit because the cLK would only gain one extra frame of advantage, leaving you a frame short. cLK does have 4 active frames though, so you could possibly be getting it to hit meaty for a possible +7 on hit (+8 if it counter hits somehow). Worth testing but unfortunately Rose can’t naturally link into a meaty cLK as none of her normals give +5. Maybe something counterhitting or hitting meaty itself could lead into it but now you’re looking at more impractical setups. I will definitely check it out though.
the last time i read n also tried, it didnt work for me because of my board, i think?
it works for some n not for others. they may have even made a new driver for it but i havent checked.
theres also ways of MAKING it work, like buying more usbs from certain companies. if you do this, make sure its directly connected to the board via pci slots, not into another usb slot. if you expanded thru another usb slot, chances of you delaying by a couple frames is likely.
what you can also do is dl a pirated copy, play offline to see how it runs n see if your stick works, and if all is well then uninstalling that version and buying/installing a new one would be the next step.

In the last match against Dictator it look like u did it on purpose and just gambled on the reveocery and the invinc on Ex.SSpiral
Yo Saqs, just stumbled upon a pSn repkay where you got beaten by a Sagat player named Daffy. He played daffy too, but still killed you. amazing He lands his super where he was mashing a reversal, and then he lands Ultra through your Ultra counter. Painful.
