Nah, you can’t react to jabs, he’s saying throw it out when you think the guy will swing. That’s not a punish.
I’m just saying the Fei Long player could probably determine whether the drill was spaced right or not. This works whether Rose has ultra or not. If she does, this might work on the Fei once, but later on he could just block the ultra, then do whatever he feels like doing to her. I’ve seen Rose players make decisions like that, but it’s not something we’re going to regularly do. Hopefully.
That seems like just wasting your Ultra to me, we all do a random Ultra sometimes, but it’s not like it’s going to be part of a strategy.
Fei can definitely punish drill on block from almost all ranges, I just tested it. All the drills are unsafe from almost all ranges except if you hit at the VERY tip of it, and even then on some of the drills I was able to punish.
I also tested the safe drill > (fei jabs) > Ultra and that doesn’t work. Fei’s jab recovers in time to block even if you reversal with the ultra. Her ultra is just too slow.
Also tested it and found out in close if you block drill, Fei gets cr.MP > Super for half life.
So there you guys go on that argument.

I was messing around with this yesterday too and found that you can do straight up reversal LP rekkas to punish really bad drills.
