I don’t get what I call the ‘Suspended PSN’ message, where it looks like it’s connecting, then after about 15 seconds, tells you it’s in maintenance mode. Now it’s instantly telling me that. Meaning I think they’re about to reconnect.
We get the update before the Japanese. We have a JP’s account. But, I don’t remember mine and my friend tried it. No luck.
Please I pray when I get home from work at 9, PSN will be up

PlayStation Blog further clarified that passwords stolen were in a hashed-type of format. In any case, hopefully Sony will bring back up the network soon. It’s about to be two weeks tomorrow.
Two week is plenty of time to get things up and running.

Umhh, well, okay. No question is a stupid question. I really do mean that. But I apologize in advance: you’re going to get a stupid answer! Hahah.
You can only ever guess at what the goals and motives are/were of the people who hacked their way on in. Just make sure you change your PSN/email/whatever passwords smartly; this seals any access they would have had by being able to log in to your stuff as you. Beyond this and whatever other information they may or may not have already stolen, deactivating your account will not protect you any further from this incident.
Like, if you need an analogy, it’s like criminals broke into your office building, and then stole a spare copy of the key to your office from the janitor’s closet, and then some time later the police chased them out but didn’t catch them. You don’t know if they already went into your office or not; nothing loooks out of place, but how can you be sure that nobody’s already snooped through your filing cabinet and/or made copies of anything? Well, what’s done is done, and you can’t change the past, and it’s not like they’re still in the building or something, so the best you can do is change the lock.
I suppose you could deactivate your account if you wanted to boycott Sony or something, or if you are concerned that they will be hacked AGAIN in future. Personally, I’m not planning on doing anything of the sort, but I understand if anyone else feels the need to.
The analogy here I guess would be quitting your job because you think your office should have had a better alarm system and sturdier locks on the doors and bars over more of their windows. Maybe that’s justified and maybe it’s not. It would probably depend on how much you like your job and what kind of stuff you keep in your office!

You can either reset it by console (Must be the same console you used to create the account or by e-mail).
Well I just got my new credit card today and already activated it so I’m just waiting for PSN to come up!! I hear it’s tomorrow May 4th so who knows and I’m also hearing that it might be until May 10th which sucks if it’s true!!
