Just thought I’d post a little update.
Hori has had my stick for a week now and I’ve heard nothing from them. Seems like one of those situations where they mention a turnover period of a few weeks and actually mean it unfortunately.
With any luck, I can stop using my forsaken 3/4ths broken pad some time this month -.-
Will post again if I hear anything some time soon.
Nice stuff Hori. This’s so far the best Hori Arcade Stick besides the Hori VLX. I ordered another one after modding and using it. I love the Weight,Noir layout for big hands and the sleek design that alloweds you to grab on the sides.

PS. The box of Hori Arcade Sticks need a big improvement .It’s too Big and Fragile making it no good for Storage/Collection purpose. I display it on a extra TE Box that I have

How deep/thick is the stick (minus the JLF and ball top)?
You replaced all the buttons and joystick lever already?
That joystick looks like the clear-shaft LS-58-01 (CX model). How’s it handle? Or it is just the stock JLF with a bubbletop and metal shaft?
Liked the choice of buttons you used. I take it those are the new 30mm solid-core transparent Sanwa’s?
Definitely looks good with blue colored parts!
If I get this stick anytime soon, I’ll probably just keep the original buttons and get rid of the JLF. I’m just not a JLF fan at all… Undecided on LS-32, -40, or -58 stick replacement.
The PS3 button colors look fine as they are. Once again, MS interference means the 360 release looks tacky and inferior.
I’ve got a ton of personal customization jobs lined up for the next year where I am definitely using transparent buttons from both Sanwa and Seimitsu…
Sorry guys I forgot about this thread until yesterday when the ps3 version arrived lol. Those are Seimitsu Buttons,JLF Stick,Seimitsu Blue Bubble Top and Chrome blue shaft. I didn’t measure the Height but I will let you know once I have a chance. I will wait for my plexiglas to arrived to change the look of the ps3 version.

apart from that, i would like to know something about the stick, do u have other sticks to compare it too? what i want to know is, does the bottom edge of the stick case where ur hand rests, does it dig into ur hand or go below past ur wrists, i like the ones that go past the wrist bones that way i dont get pain from hammering my hands into it for a long period of time lol…
It’s there a particular Arcade Stick that you want me to compared with it?The Hori SCV Arcade Stick it’s very comfortable and you will not have issue with that. About Photoshop I use PhotoImpact to design/work on the Artwork for my Arcade Sticks. But at the moment I’m waiting tek-innovations to make the plexiglas available so I can use his psd file to start to work on the artwork and send to him to print it out for me as well.

I started the process of returning my stick to have it replaced due to a malfunction on the actual stick itself on February 12th. It is now March 26th, and I’ve only managed to get an e-mail guestimating that they might be sending out a replacement last week. Well, it’s Monday, and obviously that hasn’t happened yet.
Edit: Well looks like they did actually send it last week and just decided not to tell me about it. Now I just have to hope I either don’t have to sign for it or I’m home by the time UPS shows up because I had no intention of being home to get it tomorrow -.-

I recently emailed you guys about a problem I had ordering the Soul Calibur stick, invoice #2248. The website charged me twice for only one stick (invoice clearly says one stick, but my debit account has two identical transactions listed). I was hoping we could resolve this quickly, as I really need those extra funds this week, especially considering this transaction overdrafted one of my accounts. I’m in a similar situation as well. Invoice #2246. But I was charged three times. Thankfully these are pending transations on my statement so hopefully Hori can sort it out for us, chrischun.
It must’ve been because I hit the ‘back’ button during the ordering process, huh?
I’m #2328. Also have 2 pending transactions. Although, that was partially my mistake. Card address is different from current address, and the transaction didn’t go through. I’m sure it will be removed.
I have to fax them with regards to shipping though. Billing address is different from shipping. I’m never at home and I believe they require an ID or proof of residency fax to validate the shipping address.
You should receive a shipping notice from UPS when Hori ships your stick.
Time to play the waiting game then :(. Considering that the transaction is still pending after a day, I’m going to assume it is nowhere near ready to ship.
Hori shipped my SCV ps3 stick today. My 3 pending transactions remain but I believe Hori has it taken care of as they shipped only 1 arcade stick. haha. Yep. Have to wait a bit it seems for stuff to clear up.
Ordered Sunday night and received my tracking via UPS just now.
