SCV and SFxT both have Sanwa parts so you’d be paying an extra 60 bucks plus tax for a different case. Both are great choices but I’d get the SCV.

I would be upgrading from a modded SE, so I am looking for a stick that is larger and heavier.

Just get the Hori SCV, it’s great, has sanwa parts, and easy to put in new buttons.
Dont forget the Different Button layouts on the sticks.
But you wont get much heavier than the SCV if you really want good weight. The SFxT probably weights a bit more than an SE, but not by much.
dammit…still not near $100 in canada…$136 is the cheapest i’ve seen, but that’s for the PS3 version…

I think what it does is that it changes what the buttons do depending on the switch. At default, the buttons should do what is labeled, but if you toggle the switch to the other side, it’s inverted. For example, the switch for start/back, If you toggle that switch the back button will be start, and the start will be back. Do you get it?
I guess. I was hoping it could switch any button with any other button so I wouldn’t have to rewire anything, like rewiring my select button for blink-ability.
My 360 stick just arrived, and I have GOT to get that square gate out of there. Totally cramping my fireball motions.

My new Hori SCV stick arrived this morning and I must say I am really happy with my purchase.
Not only that, but NewEgg got it to me fast. Gotta love So Cal.
I can’t believe how small my SE feels now compared to this beauty.

Yeah, I know, this thing is massive, isn’t it? I wasn’t expecting it to be THIS big.
It dwarfs my Sanwa modded SE, but feels so much more comfortable.
I was gonna take out the Octagonal gate on my SE and put it on the Hori SCV, but the new “Guest stick” needs the help, so I’m just gonna leave it in there.
I’ll probably get some non-slip material for the bottom though.
I’m going the full nine on this. new buttons, octagonal gate, purple knob, artwork, plexi… gonna be a fun project. Something I’ve been needing for a while 
O shit fellow ibuki blinkers. All you have to do with this stick is flip the switch that changes the start and back button.
It is more than possible to blink that way. I blink the best way possible with my VS stick by using my thumb for the jab and my ring finger for the back button on the back of the stick and I do the same if I am using a TE stick. I do it this way mainly because I dont fuck with 8 buttons so I make sure my stick still looks good. Not everyone is as adventurous as me in regard to their blinking so what I suggest to you is really simple.

Switch start amd select via the switch.

Open your stick from either the top or the bottom( I believe the bottom might void the warranty so the top might be best for you.)

Simply switch the the quick disconnects from your PPP or KKK with the quick disconnects from your start(now back) button and there you go.
This way is not hard at all and will give you the back button as your kkk or ppp or whatever other button you want to have.
Just make sure not to switch the back and start switch because you will end up pressing start and forfeiting matches.
The only downfall of this is that your stick will have to stay ugly cluttered with 8 buttons and all but if that works for you, you should be good. hahaha jk
