PS3 and PS2 to xBox360 Controller converter PRO

The original version requires a wired 360 controller passthrough. The pro (grey version) does not.

ok thx
but I just realized a problem with that
if you have a wired 360 controller plugged in
how are you going to plug in the ps3 controller
they both use the same port no ?

Not entirely sure - you may need to ask someone who has that version - I only have the pro version.

just got my converter pro today… will test with hori fs3 soon

i know people have been saying its lagless, but has anybody tested it with a fighting game?

I can only go by personal experience, but playing SSFIV with a Namco and Konami Hyperstick via the Pro feels utterly lagless.

I’d love to see some scrupulously tested “official” results, though…

I use it with the new HALO REACH 360 version (which is a slim) with a DS3, it works flawlessly. I now only use DS3 even for halo, I dont even use a 360 controller anymore.

WHERE CAN I BUY ps3 to xbox 360 converter?? NOT ps2 pad

anyway give me good site to buy ;]

If you read, you would have realized the this converter can convert BOTH ps3 AND ps2 pads to 360. -_-

Does anyone know the 360 home button is for the sixaxis when it is plugged in? I bought and have it. But i can’t figure out what i have to do to have the 360 read it. Most likely my fault but i can’t figure out how to configure it work based on the port im using. 360 doesnt have on the fly controller switching.

It should just be the PlayStation Home button, but you could try Select + Up as well (Home gets mapped to that when you’re using PS1/2 controllers)…

Thanks and you’re right it the HOME button. So I’ve messed around with it more and here my experience with the blaze pro with the ps3 default controller:

  • The system needed to be off and then I’d plug it in for the system to read it
  • Once the controller has been read, if you remove, it will not be read unless you turn off the system and remove it
  • I could not switch controller ports, if I tried, the bullet point above this would occur :frowning:
  • no lag

Overall, once again I have been let down. I bought this to play with in tournaments. All the tournaments around me are on 360 (for the life of me i dont know). Whose going to want to turn the system ON and then off every time its my turn or when I move do a different 360? That’s absurd. If someone know how to make the 360 read the controller once its been removed please let me know.

Well bought it to use with my DS1 and it doesn’t work…

Buy PS3 Fighting Commander 3 (blue) Playstation 3, Order Now!

Do you guys think that the Hori Fighting Commander 3 will work with this or any other PS3 to X360 converter?

I don’t understand…
When I use it with my ds1 on the 360 it doesn’t work but when plugged in my pc with that same ds1 it works
I thought the conflict was between the converter and the ds1, not between the ds1 and the 360

Did anyone try one of these? Lag? Does it work on slim model consoles?

Got the Focalprice adapter today, and i must say it works extremely well.

Played some rounds in Garou and HD Remix (and Deadly Premonition) and i had absolutely no trouble doing supers or 3-in-1 combos. No noticeable lag as far i’m concerned.

Not a arcade stick owner, but the controllers i did used worked flawlessly. Those include: PS1 digital pad, Nubytech SF pad, Logitech Cordless Action, Dualshock 2, Xbox S-Type passed thru a Xbox1-to-PS2 controller converter.

Note that it takes into account the pressure sensitivity of the L2 & R2 buttons on any normal PS2 controller. So you gotta press harder, although i didn’t have too much trouble.

Every button is mapped to where you think they should be (B=O, X=Square, LB=L1).

Home button functions like it should. You can also press the analog button to access that functionality (not sure if there’s another way. no manual). However it seems you can’t replicate the long press of the home button and turn off the system with the analog button; works fine on the home button on the adapter itself though.

Basically it’s everything you aught to expect out of a PS2 to 360 converter. Best of all, you don’t have to attach a wired 360 controller to use it.

does the converter pro works with Mayflash/joytron fighting stick?
the one that got PC/PS3 & PS2 port?

i only got Mayflash fighting stick.

terryforever: yea use the ps2 port -> 360 for 0 lag because it states that it supports ps2 sticks…

I just tested out this converter with a hori FS3 without any strict tests. However, I could not observe any noticeable input lag. Just did basic stuff like pressing light punch or throw at *same&different times vs a madcatz SE.

Can we not mix up two different converters in this thread? Leave this thread to the converter that specifically can convert PS1/2 AND PS3 SixAxis/DS3 controllers to 360 ones.
