PS3 and PS2 to xBox360 Controller converter PRO

Yea i know offical 360 controllers work and the TE stick work as a passthru. Might have to find someone with one to test it with

Were you able to test if a 360 TE would work on a ps3 with this?

Alright I scored a used and in pristine condition Madcatz SF4 R1 Pad from GS, and IT WORKS. I feel bad as i’m probably not going to use the pad anytime soon since I will now be using my ps2 controller to inflict my pent up wrath on whoever crosses my path.

In Conclusion using the hori fighting commander ex2 pad will NOT connect to the X360 through the converter. I feel like selling it now. Any bidders?

Can anyone here that plays FPS ( Who plays enough to tell when there’s input lag ) try a 360 controller on the ps3? I bought a Power A controller but it didn’t feel just quite right. ( I play 360 almost religiously. ) I’m really trying to get into some ps3 exclusives but can’t adjust to the DS3, or the power a ( maybe in time I could. )

I just got mine last week and made a video as well
This allows both controllers to be active at the same time which can be useful for ps2 stick that doesnt have all buttons so you can preform the missing actions with the xbox controller.

Does not seem to pass audio or the mic at least to the xbox

Button Mapping

X = ?
Y = ?
A = X
B = O
RB = R1
RT = R2
RS = R3
LB = L1
LT = L2
LS = L3
Start = Start
Back = Select
Guide = Home on Xbox to ps3 /
Guide = ANALOG button or up+Select on PS2 to xbox360

Gonna bite the bullet and get this. I have a 360 TE so I’ll test to see if this will make it work on ps3.

post the results please!

Ok we tested a Round 1 TE, Round 2 TE, and a Standard Edition mad catz stick for the 360 and all worked great. Some well known players down here was pulling off stuff in SSF4 like normal and could feel no lag when i asked. And i made sure to have as many people as i can test, looks like we got a winner here

I have that one. It works just fine.

You do need a wired 360 pad (Madcatz and wireless does NOT work) plug into the female USB plug, then turn the switch to 360, have your PS2 controller plug in, and then plug the USB port into the Xbox 360, and press the home button on the 360 Pad and it will be recognized. Once the recongized the controller, you can actually removes the Xbox 360 pad from the adapter with no ill effect. The controller will now continue to function until unplug or console reset. It is not necessary to restart 360 at all, plug it in is all you need.

In the PS2 to PS3 / xbox 360 thread I have posted the lag test for this device a while ago.

Wish this adapter had an official name instead of the generic one it currently goes by

Well that makes my purchase seem a lot more awesome :smiley:

do you have any idea if the lag between the *hori products is different?

I’m looking for a PS2 to 360 converter but I’m unsure which to get. Found these two for pretty cheap (at least, from where I am from):
PS2 to Xbox 360 Controller Adapter Cable [E42220] : BestOfferBuy.com, Buy DVD, Shop for PC accessories, Discount MP3 Players, Bargain Deal for Surveillance Equipment, Cheap R4 for NDS, X-sim Unlock

PS2 to Xbox 360 Controller Adapter Cable (40cm-Length) [E50735] : BestOfferBuy.com, Buy DVD, Shop for PC accessories, Discount MP3 Players, Bargain Deal for Surveillance Equipment, Cheap R4 for NDS, X-sim Unlock

Which one would people recommend getting?

bought it, works very well…plugged my 360 hori HRAP VX SA into the adapter, switched it to PS3 and plugged it into the ps3…everything worked perfect…the lights around the xbox symbol kept flashing, but it still worked…all the turbo settings worked too…very well worth it

Neither. I would get the one I mentioned, as it is guaranteed to work. Those might work but it’s a gamble.

If I have a wireless Xbox 360 Mic, And I use a Ps3 controller, will still be able to do party chat (will the wireless 360 mic work with a ps3 controller with this converter)?

Thank You,
JUstin

Your wireless headset is independent of the peripheral you’re using it should work fine.it connects directly to the console.I have a ps3 TE that I gutted of the pcb and replaced it with a PS360.my wireless headset works great on 360 and my BT headset works fine on PS3 when I play there.

Street Fighter Anniversary Arcade Stick (Nuby Tech)

Can anyone confirm that this adapter works with the PS2 Street Fighter Anniversary Arcade Stick (Nuby Tech) from a few years back?

Cheers

Gavin.

Thank you for the quick reply, very appreciated =)

I just picked up an x-arcade dual stick and I’m going to be using their PS2 adapter. They offer an almost identical product on their site but they are asking $25 for it. Has anyone tried this with an x-arcade using the PS2 adapter to the 360? Thanks for any feedback.
