Ok. I’ve had this converter for months and the only time I ever paly on 360 is if I go to Starbase or Ramnation. I can never get this converter to work without first resetting the system. Is there some kind of trick I have to do to get it to work without resetting the system? I haven’t been abe to tinker with it myself because there is always a long line at those places and I don’t want to hold anybody there up.
Someone will have to take a plunge for that pad. It works with a lot of Hori products and it’s officially licensed by Sony so it should in theory work, but there’s no confirmation.
Came across this at one of our local tourny’s and a friend of mine picked up a few and i got to test it and was blown away at how cheap it is ($7.99) and how well it works. To use PS2 Controller on 360 you still need a wired controller but it also allows PS2 controller on ps3 and 360 wired controller on ps3 which is my main reason for using it.
We tested it in SSF4 with some of the harder links, Tekken 6 and Blazblue CS and as far as i can tell this thing doesn’t lag. I just bought a new Real Arcade pro VX SA for 360 and tested it with the converter on ps3 and had no lag and i was gonna dual mod this stick but now that i found this, that won’t be necessary. Will be doing more testing and since i live in south florida i’ll be letting the better players down there give me feedback.
I have the adapter as well, but I cannot get it to work for some reason. I am using a Hori Fighting Commander Ex2 for the wired pad. Could that be the problem? Or am I just connecting it wrong?
Since this works on 2 systems i need to know what you are doing exactly. ps2 controller on 360? 360 wired controller on ps3?
Yea i saw that one and someone talked about this adapter but it seems noone took the plunge. But we have on this one, friend is making a video to show it since we have yet to find one
have you tried plugging the 360 stick in first then the ps2 pad? i know some sticks pcb’s are weird but we used a 360 TE as a passthrough for a ps2 pad and it worked fine.
Edit, it says in the other thread that the stick you are tryin to use has problems with other converters so it may be that, might wanna check out that thread
this is what i have tried…i plugged the xbox controller into the converter, connected the converter to the xbox 360, then connected the ps2 pad to the converter, then flipped the switch to “ps3”
the only thing i can think of is the hori pad is not getting enough power, or the converter doesn’t support the pad. I wish i had a OEM wired controller to verify.
