Of course, the actual result isn’t good, but, again, I didn’t expect the police to be indicted because they almost never are even in the face of, as with this instance, particularly egregious evidence. At least the public is beginning to see how much bullshit Grand Jurys (and the “Justice System” as a whole) are though.
Too bad Mr. Garner was black though. Too many (black) people are going to get caught in this being another “cops are racist” thing rather than the even more dangerous things that “cops are functionally above the law because they are the law”.
Meh. Still not holding my breath for change, but given how quickly this came down after the Grand Jury decision in Ferguson, which is the only thing surprising about it, it may spark…something rather than just fizzling out like most protest “movements” do.

Well that first article is filled with a ton of issues. First he fucked up by taking off running, and then when getting into a scuffle, allegedly reaching for something in his pocket that turned out to be pilles, but if you take off running from a cop, and then start reaching for your pockets in close quarters in hopes to ditch your drugs, then youre pretty stupid if you dont think something bad can happen to you. There is still much to come with facts, but i doubt you will hear anything about that in the near future. Especially considering he was a felon with 3 dui’s, ran from the cops from a car that was found to have a gun and weed in it, and get into a full on scuffle that fell through into a random persons home with two children in it.
