Protest followed by massive looting in STL

You say not to rush to conclusions without proper evidence and investigation and not incite race riots but that’s exactly what happened in the Mike Brown case. The double standard is what makes people angry.

Whether you wanna be chill or be hysterical, at least be consistent about it.

You cannot ask for consistency in these type of situations, or from humans in general. I know that sounds like some bullshit cop out, but for every case where you wanna argue about black people jumping to conclusions, they can argue probably double the amount of situations where their rush to conclusions and assumptions were right. Its not like the united states of america all of a sudden in the past 5 years just started being prejudice and racist, and this is some new phenomenon we’re dealing with. I dont need to explain to you the fucked up history of this country, and its currently still ignored institutionalized racism, along with the retards on every side who will gladly stick their head in the dirt just to maintain their ignorance.

Its a new day and age where people think every meme on the internet is fact, and we went from the age were these isolated incidents happened, but didnt get mainstream buzz like that all the time, and were just handled in court if need be, and the community got mad, then eventually moved on. That age is long gone now, and now we’re in the first stages of a new age where people get into their feelings super quick, are immediately backed by thousands upon thousands of other people regardless of the lack of information being provided, and then even after information trickles out, and opinons are being reprocessed, most people on BOTH SIDES could give two fucks. They made up their decision in the beginning, and they aint going back on shit.

I could go on for hours about the constant flow over the past few months of misinformation being tossed around as truth, from my job, to my girls job, to here, etc… Once people have made up their initial decisions on something, they rarely change them.

So with all that said, we can waste time focussing on the minority of assholes on both sides (hard to ignore. i understand), or press forward in our own ways to make small or big changes for ourselves and others, and just try to balance out the discussion without getting into useless arguments about non related shit when needed.

Race will be an issue in this country until both sides can accept responsibility, acknowledge reality, and press forward together. There seems to be a growing group of black americans who feel white people put them in this fucked up situation, and the responses at times are basically like, so what, i didnt do it, get over it. That shit rubs people the wrong way. Some white people feel that look, i cannot be accountable for my great great great grandparents if even that, as many are only a few decades removed from their homeland, so like 2-3 generations max. The examples go on and on, but the fact of the matter is, a lot of people are over generalizing like a motherfucker alot, have zero sympathy for anyones plight, opinion, etc…, and in general are fairly ignorant of americas past, and times present. Fairly ignorant of history in general really, because it didnt just start here.

There is clearly a middle ground in all this mess of race in this country, but i guess it will just take the decades it takes to work through it like we have been. Even though its simple as fuck in my eyes to begin to remedy this shit, it will take what seems like forever to deal with it, and there are some aspects that are understandbly difficult to remedy quickly at all, like poverty and education. I acknowledge its not as simple as doing mvc2 hulk combos to fix this shit completely, but there are some super simple steps for people to start to get smart, get logical, and get rational quick.

People wanna walk around blind like a bunch of assholes, and shit like this happens.

Its funny that a simple cop dash cam with audio, and strongly enforced protocols to ALWAYS run that shit when encountering someone could have easily gave us the answers we needed. Hell, even cheaper body cameras wouldve been fine. ID TAKE A FUCKING IPHONE VOICE RECORDING TOO AT THE VERY LEAST. LOL.

2014, where you could buy your own fucking body cam for cheap (Hell, tape a fucking video recorder to your chest, and press record. lol), or even just a simple voice recorder, could answer a lot of questions in cases like this, and all we can do is have he said she said. There needs to be some serious outrage over that shit, but all you get is a new video every week of some cop being pissed off youre recording them, because they dont wanna be recorded in general, even though their jobs should demand it more then any other common citizen job. EVEN THE GOD DAMN FUCKING LIBRARY RECORDS ITS CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES.

Jimmy, move to Alberta.
No one gonna be racist to you unless you are a native.

Everyone here wants a black friend cause there are so few lol

Currently planning a trip to Vancouver…

most hypocritical post of 2014?

Meanwhile, the cop who murdered Eric Garner on video will not be indicted.

**Ruthlessly snatched up from my post in GD: **

Yo mike. Shut the fuck up.
That kid’s life is OVER.

Yo mike. Shut the fuck up.
When a cop can shoot and kill an unarmed person in what has been one of the most questionable incidents in a string of such incidents in recent years, maybe the police should have their power limited.

Yo mike. Shut the fuck up.
I know you don’t know what happened. Two people know for sure. One is dead and the other one killed him. You don’t want to hear about this hands up crap? TOO BAD BEEYOCH!!! The players of that team have the right to do what they did, and they decided to show their support for what happened in Ferguson. If you don’t want to show support, then don’t. Everybody gets mad and say that pro-athletes should be role models, well HERE YA GO!!! That group of pro athletes helped to bring attention to a tragedy that many people would just as soon turn a blind eye to. I’m sorry that they didn’t go commit some scandal that you can bitch about for a few weeks, but they probably thought that the death of a kid in such a manner was a little more important.

No. They did that with the memorial they placed near the area where he was killed. I guess you didn’t see it since it got burned up.

No excuse needed. When the cops can murder people in the streets and the courts will not only exonerate them, but even reward them, It is already lawless.

Yo mike. Shut the fuck up.

You don’t understand? What the fuck don’t you understand?!?! You don’t understand how people can be upset about a boy being killed? You don’t understand how people are then even MORE upset that there will be no punishment for the person who killed him? You don’t understand how these SAME people would want justice done? I don’t understand why you DON’T understand.

Dear Mike: If you’re not busy right now, get on it. Write a column or two. Get on TV with your list of complaints. That is what these people are doing. For whatever reason, this time they DID stand up and they DID disagree.

In short, Mike Ditka…Please shut the fuck up.

-Starhammer-

The irony of his “old fashioned” stance is that its reletively New way to corral minorities after lynching was made illegal. Fucking retards defending police.

It’s a shame that anyone thought a football coach was an appropriate person to offer some insight on this matter.

…What the hell does this even mean?

I assume he was inferring that football players and coaches aren’t exactly paragons of intelligence, be it social, financial, or practical.

That said, somewhere, Jim Brown just punched a wall.

Yeah I just don’t see why someone thought the world needed to hear a pro football coaches opinion on a complex matter of law enforcement, especially when he gives you the boiler plate rich white guy opinion.

But I’ll admit I’m invoking a logical fallacy.

The Eric Garner case is much more disturbing than the Michael Brown case. There is a clear violation of conduct done by the officer yet no indictment. Not even for manslaughter? Wtf man.

The only person who was indicted in that case was the person who recorded the tragedy as is happened…that is some shit.

I’m not even sure what for. Is it illegal to film police on the job in NY?

Okay…I found out the guy who taped the event was arrested on a different charge.

Also…his wife was arrested for assault charges.

Separate incidents. I see. Hm.

Yet he is still more successful than any of you here so he must be doing something right. Owning several restaurants, going from making 10,000 a year as a player to having a net worth of 30 million might be someone that I’d take financial advice from.

Neither are video game nerds that post on SRK.
Oh yeah, lets ask the 3s player his thoughts on Ferguson said no one ever.

So basically because he’s white he’s not allowed to have a conflicting opinion on the matter. More over most of your replies to him could then also be used towards you in defending his opinion. Don’t like his opinion the too bad, he is entitled to it and he’s entitled to express it.

Want to promote the fact that police are abusing their power? Better find an example of them doing so against someone that isn’t breaking the law. Sadly most of those examples have whites as victims so you never hear about it. But they are indeed there. Killing a homeless man? Check, killing a boy scout kid holding a gaming controller as he answers the door? check. Killing a mentally challenged child who won’t let go of a spoon? check. Killing a dog because he was protecting their owner? check. The examples are there and would be easier to gather a following that more people would support. (aka more than just blacks). But hey, continue to support criminals and the police will continue to support corrupt police officers. Support actual innocent victims and the police would have no choice but go against the corrupt or bad cops.

If USAToday ever posts an article titled “Pherai chimes in on…(something besides 3s)” let me be the first to condemn it. Although I guess it Kuroda does the hands up pose at Coop Cup maybe they’d publish me.

The rich have more opportunities to get richer and invest more, so that to me is no real indicator of financial savvy.

They also have more leeway to fail in their ventures. It’s not like these guys don’t hire financial advisers and lawyers to do the grunt work.

So yeah, this Dikta still said a lot of out of touch “good ol’ days” bullshit. He’s wholly irrelevant anyways to this issue anyway.
