I’ve never seen a 100 foot indoor range, and I doubt anybody but the upper echelon of handgun shooters could pop someone in the head twice at 100 feet without having multiple misses, particularly in a confrontation. Also, there’s a 95% chance the cop was using a double action only .40- not the sort of gun that has a favorable trigger for precise shooting.
Not at 100 feet, unless the shooter has a tendency to shoot high, in which case it would be all the more unlikely that he would be practiced enough to keep the shots in line horizontally. It’s possible, but I’d say pretty damn unlikely.
On that note, I keep seeing reports that “at least 10 shots were fired”. That should be a pretty fucking simple thing to have determined, given that one could just count how many cartridges remained in Wilson’s gun/magazines.
Why is it that the nigga who actually shot at police get a peaceful protest with no confrontations from the police? I looked at who the protesters were and it all makes sense
Indoor ranges technically can be as long as you want to make them, the longest one I’ve seen is 75 feet though. Also, every pistol specific (as in no rifles other than .22LR being permitted) indoor range I’ve shot at was a 50’ one. People seem to regularly over-estimate how far they’re shooting unless you have a number on a display beside you. Anyways, my real point was that a 100 foot headshot with a (no optics) pistol is tough.
I remember hearing about a study that even black cops would racially profile other black people. That was a long ass time ago and I have no idea how accurate it was, but it certainly wouldn’t surprise me in this day and age. Not that it excuses anyone, but everyone does do racial profiling, either consciously or subconsciously.
Well, the forensic evidence appears to match up that there was a struggle in the car like reports have said, although it’s strange that the article does not mention whose blood it was. Still no clear evidence on what happened after, however.
I trust that shit about as far as I could throw me. Plus it still doesn’t explain why he was shot with his hands up after surrendering even if a struggle did happen.
Forensics is slow as fuck. HOW long have they had this,“evidence” around and they JUST released it?
They don’t want to have a million men marching on that ass. The way things are going, they will before the end of the year though. I really hope it doesn’t become that, but to say the natives are restless is an understatement.
“CNN) – Forensic tests have found the blood of Michael Brown on the gun, uniform and police cruiser belonging to Officer Darren Wilson, who fatally shot the unarmed teen two months ago in Ferguson, Missouri, The New York Times reported.”
