Protest followed by massive looting in STL

It’s an ultra-right winged website. As for it’s credibilty:

They got caught changing a key fact in the story to create a more sensational headline, or a reason to incite the crowd.

I’m not saying ultra-right wing websites are more naturally inclined to believe every word the police says is truth in regards to controversies of race, that is for you to decide.

He’s no longer at his residence. I have a feeling he’s out of MO. He’s gone…far far away until the investigations are over and the prosecutor/grand jury determine whether Darren Wilson can face charges for the shooting death of Michael Brown.

State prosecutors to present evidence in Michael Brown case to grand jury - http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/holder-headed-to-ferguson-on-wednesday-will-oversee-federal-response-to-shooting/2014/08/19/d60e203c-2757-11e4-958c-268a320a60ce_story.html

That’s good for him because at this point it doesn’t matter if he is found guilty or not in a trial there are a group of people who will try to find his residence and kill him, and even if the fucking Intergalactic Empire is there to protect him there will be people who will gladly engage them. Just because Michael Brown got murked it doesn’t mean that Wilson needs to die as well.

Missouri Governor won’t remove controversial prosecutor from Michael Brown case - http://www.vox.com/2014/8/19/6047467/missouri-governor-will-not-remove-embattled-prosecutor-from-michael

Yeah I know they’re not the most reliable site (I was told this shortly after the fact, but I did mention to take the info with a grain of salt). If the information is true, it’s more evidence that there was an actual struggle between Brown and Wilson at some point. What happened after and the actual shooting is still up in the air, unfortunately.

Whether there was a struggle is unknowable at this point too.

Heh. Patrick Henry Mall. Yeah, I dropped MANY a token between there. Mostly ended up in the arcade near military circle, then the base itself finally had a few good ones and some decent comp would show up. Those were the days. Might even have to try and go back just to visit, but VA isn’t right across the road. Still, where there is a will…

Here’s where a historical perspective will benefit you; you are employing a formalistic logical structure onto something that is a process e.g. the assembly of a police state apparatus in US, which is linked to the decay of the global economy and the inevitable rise in social inequality. Besides you don’t even know my position on the obvious racism that exists in this country. While race has a role in the issue, it isn’t the primary issue, and it can only be defended on a class basis. Think about it: do black bourgeois investors suffer discrimination? Hell no. Is Oprah oppressed? Yeah, you can see where this is going.

EDIT: in fact, they placed a black man at the forefront of the police repression! Obama also came out in defense of the state and the officer who slayed the teen. Additionally, look at Detroit. Kevyn Orr, declaring that water is not a social right to a population of (many black) workers who live in conditions similar to countryside India - he’s black and “slashes throats like the best of them” (may need correction on how he exactly said it). I made a more concise statement in my first contribution to this thread.

So if you think race plays the primary role, do you want to hear it from the residents themselves?

Need more? I will gladly provide you with more.

Why do you think there was looting? How come every state organization (yes, even the democrats) and it’s representations are coming to the defense of the state with violent force? Why are the main advocates of race politics supporting the state repression of political opposition? Furthermore, who does the state represent?

Al Sharpton and all of the racial demagogues have made their cynical gestures already while calling for further state intervention. The face of race politics within the democratic party should be clear to everyone as they are witnessing the results of it on a daily basis! Don’t believe Lewis tried to use his experiences in the civil rights as a pretext to sending in the national guard?
http://www.11alive.com/story/news/local/2014/08/14/john-lewis-obama-ferguson-michael-brown/14068333/
Protecting protesters’ rights is obviously not what they are doing.

In reality, Lewis represents a section of black middle class activists which gained a comfortable spot behind the democratic party - supporting both their wars and their attacks on living standards transferring massive amounts of wealth to the financial elite (see quantitative easing 85bil-65bil a month to wall street, US sequestration etc.). They are profiting from this process, so there’s no way any semblance of a desire to defend democratic rights should even be considered. Besides this is a much different era than the civil rights movement; the implications of state intervention can only mean one thing as the financial aristocracy has nothing to offer the working class (esp the black working class).

These issues will become increasingly important to clarify to US citizens in the coming period. Don’t think that the buildup of a police state will end anytime soon.

Whether it’s about ethnic differences or any other shit like that doesn’t matter.

This is how our country is being run right now.

That’s a real government-made(of the UK, back in 2002) flyer.

The time for talk is, and has been, OVER.

That’s the entire point.

Also, you are not accounting for non-human combatants, like robots. A huge factor in any conflict.
Consider their presence.

Correct.
Only a to-do list.

I agree: there are no negotiations with social forces which support fascists in Ukraine, massacres in Gaza, spy on the international population including citizens within their nation state boundary, then use the same military force they apply in Iraq (once again) on their own citizens.

Don’t be naive. You are witnessing a revolutionary situation develop in Ferguson. The outcome may be a defeat of this opposition, but it very well could spread (and is spreading, which is the reason why the govt is hostile to ANY media on site). Look at what happened in Egypt when social inequality became unbearable: a revolutionary situation. Too bad they were sold out by various aristocrats. That should make one thing clear - the only way forward will be an independent party of workers internationally.

Completely agreed otherwise, but…

After all the shit that’s come out and been done?(Snowden’s whistleblowing results ALONE.),
It won’t be peaceful. At all.
Many seem to think that it will be. Can’t wait to see the horrified surprise on their countenances.

Party? lol democracy.
Don’t count on it.

No government archetype that can screech to a halt over its past-term and past-senile staff gridlocking over the most trivial of shit/getting pissy over little or big issues is not a wise one to implement. A bureaucracy has to get shit done.

That’s the whole fucking point of a government given it’s power by the populace.

Not seeing that here, now are we?

I’m actually insisting most of the same things you are.

  1. It will definitely not be 100% peaceful (although the initial stages will be somewhat peaceful)
  2. We will not rely on bourgeois parliamentary parties e.g. vote a candidate into the existing economic superstructure of a specific nation state
  3. This must be a seizing of power by the working masses independent of whomever aristocrat or government official wants to “represent” their desires for democratic rights.

I didn’t read any subtext, then. Missed a spot check. I’m dumb.
lol.

I’m not entirely up to par at seeing between the lines in stuff that’s heavily polarized like politics behind a screen. Hate that.
I can read people pretty easy otherwise, but fuck if I can’t do it when there’s no inflection to anything because of text, bah.

Anyway, glad to know that some besides me see this as a series of problems with clear and well-thought out solutions that avoid mistakes that have been for us to know how to avert, people’s damaged sensibilities and snubbed feelings be damned.

Guys this shit is not going to end well if more outside counter-protestors come into town along with the ongoing riots. This might turn into a fucking massacre. Seriously.

Am actually disappointed so far by the results in Ferguson, for all the bitching some americans do about the right to bear arms… well get to it and start shooting. You got your damn guns to stop goverments from bullshitting you, why these weaklings not using them to blast the police lines? Entertain us!

Sounds good to me.

Get more people there. Show Ferguson you got their backs. Let the governments know this is more than a small issue in a small suburb.

See the problem is the idiots that think like you just get the actual people that live there fucked like we’ve already fucking seen. Wanna go there and protest and not be a fucking idiot? Go for it. But going there and causing trouble and doing stupid shit just fucks over the people of Ferguson even more. Especially white motherfuckers that won’t have to deal with this problem when they leave.

Yeah, there is going to be a massacre and it will spread throughout the country then throughout the rest of the world. The Elites really do plan on killing 90 percent of the population, but they will fail with this plan.
