Project Leo: Sixaxis + Wireless 360 dual mod

Thankx gummowned and realneogeo for coming up with another kickass product to help us enrich and diversify our mod projects! Excellent high res diagrams too, very easy to follow. I am really looking forward to getting one of these once they are officially available. I would like to do a dual wireless 360/ps3 and add a mcc with a rj45. If I can successfully pull that off, then I will attempt to add a masterstrike and arc eyes to the setup somehow. Looking all most of the wiring diagrams, I can see its going to be alot of work, but I am intending on building and adding wiring harnesses where I can to make life much easier. Im getting excited about all the possibilities that open up now with the leo2 board. I will try to refrain asking too many questions until I actually have a board in hand, and by then those questions might be answered already  Good shit!!!

Gummowned, I want the old Leo.
Do you still have I can buy?

Any particular reason you need the first version?

does that lipo battery also work in powering the 360?
if it does then i will go :3
also will you sell them with sixaxis pcbs separately like you did with leo v1?

Just so people know it will fit the Dual Shock 3 also:

hehe, great stuff !
so will you sell sixaxis boards and batteries too ?
would you recommand one of those ? 18650 lithium sur Conrad.fr, le choix parmi plus de 30000 références

how high is this thing when it’s mounted ? will it fit in a Tekken6 stick ? (I suppose it’s possible to “set” both appart from each other like for the leov1 so it fits anyway, though)

looking forward to order one to europe ! (anybody will carry this soon in europe ?)

The original sixaxis and the 18650 series cell can both power the wireless 360 pcb.

I will be selling the sixaxis with original battery separately from the leo boards. The same with the 18650 lithium ion cells.

From that link get either the sony or samsung branded one (3.7v). From out of those two, I would get the samsung one (has more battery capacity).

There’s a link to the measurments picture in the first post. It will not fit stacked up in a T6. You will have to play around with it a bit to find a spot to get it to fit.

I think it might be better to order from akihabarashop as I prefer not doing international shipping if given the chance.

Gumm, do you kno off the top of your head the pitch of the spacing for the soldier holes xbox360 side and the misc pcb side? I counted 16 holes on the 360 side and 15 holes on the misc, but the pitch distance between the holes isnt listed in the measurement pic…im looking up through hole connectors of different varieties so I can make harnesses for this, thanx in advance

Updated the picture for you.

Thank you very much sir! From the diagram I can conclude that the pitch is 2 MM correct? Is it safe to assume its the same on both sides?

2mm on both sides, yes.

great work here!

Unfortunately no Dual Strike stye break out header for the Teasy Boards. I would have been great to have a sodlerless possibility for a wireless PS3 PCB into a xbox360 TE stick.

Leo v2 is now ready for sale. I’ll be selling 18650 lithium ion cells later on.

Thanks Gummowned for the info (and your work obviously!)
I just order a leo2 through Akihabarashop, I was wondering if anyone was willing to sell me the sixaxis part for it (preferably from europe since I need it shipped in France)

Edit:Actually I’ll get one through him too ^^

Well, I see making another purchase in my near future. I’ve got a wireless dual mod for a client I’m working on now. I’ll keep the v2 Leo I have now for myself. SInce I have to solder that one up, and the project is getting shipped to Sweden, I’d rather have a board that I KNOW will work. No way I can provide much hands on technical support once it ships

just placed an order for a leov2 i am excited  gumm, i was looking in the trading post on your thread and one of the last entries i saw you did a 360 R2 TE -> MC + RJ45 + Dreamcast. i saw you used to 2 imps in order to hook a dc cable via rj45. now seeing that got my head spinning with ideas. do you think its possible with a leo2 to do a dual wireless, ps3+360 + mcc + rj45 + dreamcast? from the illustrations on the first post, i pretty much assume you can do a dual wireless 360+ps3+mcc+ rj45 with an additional usb for charging the battery. but can i add an imp + dc pcb and possibly get dreamcast functionality out of the rj45? im fine with switches as one is already need for first part of the mod i want to do and i wouldnt have a problem adding another one. i just want to kno if it can be done, ill worry about how to do it once i figure out what are all the parts i need to order and get them in, which could be awhile since funds are getting tight. also realneogeo, you may kno if its possible, judging from your great work in with these illustrations, i can see you have a great level of expertise when it comes to wiring these up, any insight would be much appreciated. thanx again

I received your payment ShinMessiah. I’ll have it shipped tomorrow and pm you the tracking number.

About the mod in question. It should be possible, but it won’t be something I can help guide you through since it would be a setup I haven’t done (nor anyone else for that matter).

Thank you and realneogeo for all your efforts and work  Im looking forward to finding it in the mail in a couple of days or weeks

fair deal. i might be able to figure it if can see how your wired up the two imps and the dc pcb in that mod you did that i was talking about, but ill leave that discussion alone for a while, til i get more or most of my parts in and i can really see what is going on with everything in front of me. Once again thank you

gummowned any chance you can post the height of it attached to a ds3 or sixaxis and the screw on feet

the height from the bottom of the screw feet to the top of the screw terminals on the leo2 is 33.96mm / 1.337 in

if you mount the 18650 cell holder to the top of the leo2, the total height becomes 44mm / 1.732 in
