Should be able to do this with two DPDT switches. One switch is used for the USB D- and D+ lines (wired up as if this was a normal dual mod). The other switch will have the guide button and battery lines. Wire up the 5v line of the main usb cord to the 5v usb pins on the 360 and sixaxis boards. Wire up the ground line of the main usb cord to the grounds of the 360 and sixaxis boards. Also the - side of the lithium ion cell needs to be connected to the grounds of the boards.
You can find the location of the usb 5v,d-,d+,gnd on the wireless xbox controller at the play and charge port. If you flip the board on its back the order of the pins is 5v,D-,D+,?,?,?,Ground.
I finished modding my second 360 T6 stick last night. I took plenty of pictures throughout the process. I’ll be working on organizing them and forming the guide for it.
After that, I will be working on a guide for using the Leo board with MS 360 wireless controller guide and then the Madcatz wired controller.
Edit: this is going to suck. I lost the sd card that had all the pictures when I left work. I hope its still in the office. I still have most of the pictures backed up on my phone and work computer, so the worst case scenario is that I’ll have to retake a couple pictures of the last few steps.
I contacted the company about my order and found out that 2 items that I had in my order were not in stock. It was going to take them a week or two to get them back in stock, but since they are parts not relevant to the Leo board, I went ahead and had them ship my order now and put those two items on back-order. Should be getting my shipment in 7-10 days. I’ll post ordering info when I receive my order.
Still haven’t found my SD card, but luckily I do have most of the pictures backed up. Only missing the pictures of the final stages of the mod. I can retake those.
Am using the late version MS wireless controller
1- How do I select which controller to use?
2- what about the syinc ,the guide & the home buttons?
3- do I have to use USB cable to syinc my 360 controller?
Yes you will have to plug in the usb cable to sync the 360 controller. There is no need for a sync button, but if you want to do things that way, you can add a sync button to your stick and wire it to the sync button on the 360 controller.
wire the 5v pin from the xbox to the 5v of the ps3 usb port. Also wire the gnd pin from the xbox to the gnd of the ps3 and to the battery - of the lithium ion cell.
I’m working on the MS wireless controller dual mod guide atm. It’s a two in one guide since it’s applying to the PS3 T6 stick. Since I found out the PS3 T6 board can’t be easily dual modded with, I decided to replace it with a sixaxis and leo board. It will have a lot of pictures so it should take me a couple of days before its up.
Do you guys think there is any need for a guide on how to use the leo board in a straight up single wireless ps3 mod?
Alright then I’ll do a sixaxis stand alone guide after I post the MS wireless dual mod guide. All the pictures are taken, I just need to edit them and finish writing the rest of the guide.
Thanks for pointing out the photo link. I have corrected that now.
I checked the tracking for the rest of the parts and I will be getting them in a day or two so I will be selling them. I still have plenty of sixaxis boards and batteries to sell as well.
Sorry, but I won’t be having the free shipping deal any more. Final prices are $25 per Leo board and $25 per Sixaxis board w/ battery. Shipping will be $6. I will ship to UK, same price.
