As I replied to you in PM, I dont do money matches PERIOD. As for the conversation with your gf. All I remember was in the kitchen, she was complaining that she was getting perfected. All I said was that it was a good learning experience, and just learn to block. There were at least 2 other people there when I said it. I don’t know what’s wrong with that comment at all.
However, if you guys feel offended, please accept my sincere apologies. And Rik, please convey to your girlfriend that I meant her no harm. I realize that people always call me “no tact”. And a lot of times I do offend people without ever figuring out whats wrong. Having said that, I played the game as a challenge to myself, I believing using the health bar to judge one’s enjoyment of the game maybe quite irrational. IF a person wants to judge their enjoyment of the game by the health bar, just put 2 machines next to each other, and both people should just set the computer on easiest mode and play. Frankly, it’s no the other person’s responsibility to play down to your level, its your responsibility to level up your game.
edit: we played a game already in casuals, and you beat me, do you really want 100 bucks that bad. BTW, Im up for casuals anytime (but Im from Canada, and as I told everyone, I won’t be able to make it down for quite a while). I dont know the reason why you want to beat me again, but if you want to get some Guile games, PM me, we’ll set up a time, and Ill play you either on XBL or PSN no problem. I am surprised I didn’t get hated on for quitting SFIV, I actually had no plans for showing up but I basically got abducted from Burien by Pablo and Keith. GGs to Hwnd, Riki and James Walton! Hopefully next time at Zach’s I can get an ST rotation of some kind going, but if not it is still cool just to hang out.
Sorry I passed out so early even without drinking but that was like my 6th day of working in a row in one form or another and also I haven’t been sleeping much cus I go to bed on average at 7am lately.

seeing as you are giving free advice, I’d like some more.
I like going to Gameworks and Preppopolis, whenever I’m in town, I really enjoy dropping by and I like the people there.
However, now that the issue of money match comes up, and I don’t like losing money. I have a dilemma on my hand.
So I have choice A) Ignore people’s offer for money matches and keep doing what I’ve been doing. OR, B) Stay away until I am certain that I’ll win any money matches that I am offered, and then and only then, will I show up.
Which choice do you think I should choose? thanks for your time and advice btw
I thought most of the people who went to Zach’s did not do money matches most of the time? I’m guessing if you had a chart of the number of people who did and who did not play money matches on a given night, most of them would not have. Then again, I am a loser who works on Friday, and have not been able to attend in what seems like years. I think I annoy him, but even still Zach was kind enough to say that I could show up.
You could also go with C) practice some weird, old game that nobody else plays. Accept money matches… but only for that game. Something like SvC:Chaos, or WakuWaku7, or Galaxy Fight, or whatever.
Or D) insist on extremely low stakes, or alternate ‘reward’/‘punishment.’ Play for pushups, or handjobs, or something.
