Welcome back Preppy!!! Hope you had a good vacation!!
Last event we had a whopping 50 heads forsf4!!! INSANE! I believe this oct 9th preppy event is very highly anticipated. Is everyone up for a good SF EARLY tourney? 5 dolla entree as usual (although if u guys are willing to do 10 entree, ill pay out top 6. Incentive?) Double elim as usual. Let me know if everyone is filling it or if people would much rather just hang out and chill. Preppys is not a serious tourney location, in my opinion…its a place to chill with good friends and just relax and get some random games on. So its your guys call, with all the major events coming up (nor cali regionals, tourney wars) i would hope people are very hungry to play and compete. See everyone at preppys!
Is this starting at the usual time of 7pm Preppy? If so, ill be there. Maybe everyone can still donate 2 or 3 dollars to get back the stolen money.

What is your decision on this matter Preppy? Are SF4 tourneys ok or would you rather have your spot as a kick it spot where people just play?

No, I suggest you meet up with someone first via any of the multitude of social opportunities now available in the vibrant(?) SF4 scene. At this point my place is not the first place anybody shows up for SF4, just for my own sanity.

Probably, yes? I believe I still have that in the stack… ? Some DCs were given away at NWM2 - I believe that one was kept in the “good” stack… if not, it may have been broken and part of the “Parts” stack. =\
I squarely lay my anger on the backs of SF4 players. No offense to your excellence and the excellence of many others, just – the Marvel / poker crowd had been cracking for years without any sort of hitch pretty much whatsoever.
No SF4 tourneys at this point in time. There are plenty of other excellent people and places where those can happen. :tup:
Mine had the Penny Arcade drawing/autograph. If it’s gone/dead it’s no biggie, I was just curious.

IIRC that’s the one that Zach brought to Evo for Mahvel and it got a lot of mileage in our room. Should still be alive and kicking.

I’ll be getting there late, but I WILL rock Omega Red. Everyone who has heard me mentioning Marvel knows that I will, no matter what, have Omega Red on my team.
Jared I didn’t know you play Marvel. We should play some time. But beware. . . I lack the muscle memory necessary to execute complicated combos and tactics in that game.
I’d attempt to learn Marvel but I don’t think it would go very well if XBL is any indication of how much I suck.

It wouldn’t. Learning Marvel in Seattle is hella hard. I wouldn’t even consider myself awful at the game (I mean like, I can do sent fastfly combos in training mode lol, that’s a start) but Seattle is buff edit edit lol i’m dumb You just gotta have the heart to get beasted on thousands of times I guess.
Omega Red is awesome with that qcf+k move because you press back kick and and it recovers so fast it’s like a giant ass safe poke. All day. Launch, lp lk lp, lp lp qcf+PP MASH PUNCH TO DRAIN LIFE, up+p to throw them up, into ULTIMATE 50/50 MIXUP where you throw another coil straight up, or you air dash under them and throw a coil up. You can’t see Omega Red right now.
Play “The Asian Sensation” Brian MA or Keith for Omegaz Red strats. IMO Marvel is hard game to teach. So much stuff you can do at a crackhead pace.
Omega Red is a beast of a battery for StriderDoom. I remember Clockw0rk used him in his team. Retracting that kick with Doom rocks flying around the screen = sick meter building/chip/anger-inducing antics.
