once i upload my videos i’ll be able to tell you guys how i do it.
but sometimes i do the s. lp and dash under, cr. lk blah blah tatsu
but there are certain times i’ll do jumping short towards them in the air after ex tatsu, and if i’ve already got them with it once, when i land i walk a little bit backwards so i’m back where i was so they block the wrong way
works about 90% of the time if they know what’s going on
aside from the aforementioned use of risky moves on a blind stuff, one big thing i noticed: you guys jump… a lot. and very rarely did i see any kind of aa. make it a habit of spacing in the proper range so you can always c.fp to aa. try to avoid jumping in so much.
There is one of me taking like a 46k cp point against a sagat by missing all my combos and jumping way too much. It amuses me, but is in no way a good example of sakura play. Either way, its on my friends account as pissbowlin on xbl.
thanks man. usually before i start a session of ranked games, ill go into training mode and practice some of her different links. Mostly: c.lk > c.lp > c.hp > ex tatsu, c.lk > c.lp > c.mp > hadouken, and c.lk > c.lp > c.mk > shooken. the timing on all of these links are relatively the same, just practice practice practice
this is a G-2 match i had… 1st round i messed up… i was drunk and it was like 7am… criticize all you want cause even i think i played shitty… i blame mr. makers mark.
Nice matches, obey! I see you like to go for a throw after blocked ex tatsu; personally I like going for the c.mk with possible combo into heavy sho, but whatever works for ya. One thing I would say is against Akuma, if you’re close enough you can use heavy sho to dash under an air fireball and just barely hit Akuma out of the air. I don’t know if you know about that, but you might want to try it out - you get surprisingly good range on it.
I try to mix it up after a blocked ex tatsu between a throw, c.mk, or an ex shooken. But a throw is a bad habit of mine so that usually comes out
I dont have much experience with the range of heavy sho against akuma so i use it sparingly. I remember i did it before and thought it was a good idea. I guess thats what i’ll have to practice next thanks
um hello
heres a video/replay of me playing an akuma player.
