Citiofbrass I have a question
how do you do that thing where after you knock your opponent down and you do a shouken to land on the other side of them? That seems like a very useful mixup/mindgame that I could use. I do know how to LK Tatsu to jump over my opponent.
Depending on what you’re doing lp sho after it’s a timing issue.
Also some characters are never going to get crossed up while others will.
Mix it up with with lk shunpu for maximum effect imo.

yea i played like ass last night.
so when u option select the ex tatsu are u accepting the fact that if he just blocks you are just going block string him. i know that ex tatsu will cancel if u do it out of low kick.
Can someone explain clearly what this option select is please?
well, have you ever knocked down bison and when go to do a jump-in he teleports on wakeup and escapes?
If you buffer in the command for hk/ex shunpu after the you hit the hk/hp button in the air, when you land one of two things can depending on if bison teleports or not: If he teleports, the shunpu comes out and you catch him. If he doesn’t teleport then nothing happens and you can continue doing whatever combo you were going to do. IIRC, it works against bison and dhalsim, but not akuma… maybe it works against seth?
Ok so Sanford Kelly just put Marn on blast. Not gonna spoil it for you if you wanna watch it, but he sticks with Sakura throughout. Very impressive.

Option select is where you press two buttons at the same time (eg. a punch and a kick) and depending on whether the previous blow connects, or the opponent blocks, etc. a different move will come out. Search the forums or youtube for it there’s heaps of guides.
