if ive learned anything from the sakura v abel fight its dont jump next to characters who are rising an have a grab special… they always get punished

^ Try pressing Towards + Short, then just do a QCF + P.
That’s the method I use anyway. You have to cancel it quickly, however.
That video is reallly slow for me (even when buffered and my computer isn’t slow). Is there some way to, uh, fix that?
Weird it worked perfectly fine for me. It even seemed a little too fast.

Nice reset. I didn’t know you had to do a crouching jab, rather than a standing jab.
Did you see there are messages at the bottom of the vids, after the sak player “screws up”?

The messages just say things like “he was trying to this move” and “I wonder what he was trying to do” and whatnot. Nothing special.

Was the ex tatsu, dash, c.lp, dash other side, c.lk ex tatsu, dash, c.lp and so on unblockable for the opponent? Or was the opponent lost and forgot to crouch block the c.lk?

The reset just caused the mid-air opponent to fall back to his feet rather than knocking him on to his back.
When you dash to the other side, you’re hoping that the opponent is blocking the wrong way because he might not expect you to be on the other side of him.
I kind of like DannyCat’s style of play. I play similar, but alot worser.

Never played a good Sakura user before cause my brothers always spam Kens.
And Zangief is a hard match up. I dont think I could of did anything better myself.
I’m such a Sakura scrub…so mad respect for DannyCat showing peeps that Sakura doesnt suck (my brothers think so).
Oh, and I call BS on the Japanese voice being so much better. Maybe the english isnt what Sakura fans imagined but its still great. And her taunts = people ragequiting (I only played online twice and thats when I was over a friends house). Hell, I’d be losing, but I get that Ultra off, “Thats a wrap!” pisses my opponents off to no end, and they quit.

So when you score a knockdown, you jump in at them in case they do a quick-rise, and if they don’t, you neutral jump to start a combo/block string? Is that what you’re doing?

It’s interesting to me that you end your combos with a shouken rather than an ex.tatsu. Is it more stun or damage?
That ex sho through Chun’s fireball was NIIIICE. I don’t know why you didn’t ultra her on dizzy before that though.
Edit: And stuffing Cammy’s ultra with ex sho was nice! Did you input that at the same time as her ultra, or after you saw it coming?
