Howcome you do the lk link instead of the c.hp? I tested them out in training mode and the linked lk doesn’t seem to have any better range than the c.hp while the c.hp does more dmg…

Okay geogaddi:
-at 0:20, instead of punishing that focus whiff with a simple HK, HP xx HK.Tatsu should be muscle memory already and your punisher for all. or at least cr.mk xx Shou.
-Seth’s Lighting legs can punished on block by cr.mk xx Shou and seeing as you had Ultra, that would end the match right there too.
-Great string at the end of the second Match, really popped that Seth can open, nice links there.

Besides these minor mistakes, you handled the matches really well, especially against two characters that are so annoying to face. you land pretty much all the links, and you just need to work a bit on the punishing side. Good stuff

Thanks a lot for the good word on that lighting legs situation, I pretty much had no idea how to punish it. Word!

I either need to get more proficient (which is the ideal solution) at landing that 3 1f link string at the end or gotta just aiming for easier links. I think I waste a lot of opportunities going for risky stuff.

That thing recovers so slow I think there’s enough time to walk forward and do a c.HP combo

s.LK does have more horizontal range than c.HP and c.LK, c.LK might be a tiny bit longer than c.HP too but not sure.

That’s a mighty good reason imo. It’s great to aim for perfect execution, but the fact is that when you’re playing masher friendly SF4 you can eat something like DP xx FADC, ultra just for missing a 1-frame link (with input lag) :looney:

Amigdala, never do a focus attack to Dizzy Punish. Always do something like j.HP> BnB.

Focus attack adds 2 more hits to damage scaling, and since you already comboed into the dizzy, it’ll scale a lot and subsequent damage will be even lower.

And try to post some full matches, not just parts where you were mixing them up. We want to know how you got to the mix-up situation. PS.: Those players looked a bit scrubish, no offense.

I’ve seen people mash out of dizzies and block jumping attacks FA3 will still hit these people unless they are able to magically mash out an Ultra as they get out of dizzy, it’s just easier and safer. No biggie really.

i ll think about it…but i think the whole match would be “boring”,for most of the ppl.mostly i make vids,with good move/situations and cut it together…for entertainment

these are no scrubs…they just dont mesh SRKs out,like g2 ppl.rly, i dont ask ppl,if they let me rush them down for my vids xDDD

Can’t really judge how well you play just by the parts you do well in, you’re here to improve the parts where you lack, right?

Imo I think you just need to stop playing opponents online, find some local competition with sakura and you’ll see very quickly what you lack.

Your local competition probably wouldn’t sit there after a RHtatsu, let you throw them 5 times in a row. Nor would they let you jump in 30000 times, (I know, because it’s such a hard thing for me to not do), nor would they let you try that jump reset and just random-ass ex tatsu your way into a corner reset. Nor would they eat a level 2 focus on wakeup.

Points for Simian Mobile Disco though.

just watched the 1st video.
I have no idea why you did a random srk after knockdown in the first round
you should hit confirm before comboing into EX tatsu
you missed chances to punish srk
you didnt need to go into a mixup after EX tatsu in the last round
if Ryu players try to cross me up and mash out their little combo into fireball I just block the crossup and mash out EX srk. so maybe try that.

Be amazed at my crappy sakura. Would like advice and maybe someone that has a headset for ps3 to help me out.

One thing that is weird is that plinking or double tapping screws up my rhythm for combos. Am I doing it wrong or something?

basically my biggest weakness is links but I am working on it.
