Valle has played his Sakura before, on regular basis iirc. So that;s out of the question. He just guessed wrong. Every single time.

I finished third with Sakura in a tourney held on the same day. Don’t expect Sabre-like stuff, but tell me what you think.

I just watched the first match of the akuma set… you jump way too much man and you need to poke more. Also just backdash akuma divekicks or neutral jump them. Other than that not bad keept it up

Went straight for the vertical jump reset, I’d have gone for the cross-under to test him first, later when you crossed under it seemed to work :stuck_out_tongue:

Seemed to like your vertical jumps, can’t Abel do a reversal Falling Sky on those? Well good thing he didn’t I guess :stuck_out_tongue: Not really much else to say, you were pretty solid and looked in control the entire time, might want to mix up hit confirm/link combos with the Light Shunpuu links when jumping in.

That dude didn’t really seem all that good, not that he was crap or anything just expected better from a finalist :stuck_out_tongue:

Unplayable conditions, really threw me off. PS3 running on composite cable on a Sony Bravia (probably without even game mode on). So given the conditions vertical jumps were really smart :slight_smile:

In summary, moar like Lagcon.

Sak Gief is day 1 I think. The 5 on 5 where the majority of the Sabre matches were are late day 2.

But I think anything except ign is banned on SRK because they need dat greens.

You aren’t allowed to. I guess the guys here are makign money off the deal with IGN, so they are shutting down anyone who recorded the match and put it on youtube etc.

It blows my mind. Youtube quality isn’t that great, and I really wonder how many people were brought back into street fighter from that daigo beast video. Imagine if it was “removed due to copyright”

It MAY be possible (I’m unsure) you can still watch the full thing on Ustream, what they used to stream it live, I know people who missed it were watching it there days after, it would be near the end of Day 2 if it is. But it even says in the main forum, any linking to youtube etc copies of EVO is forbidden. That’s capitalism for you. I odn’t think mentioning Ustream is against the rules though because they\re the ones who made the ustream.

But even still, 15 bucks for a years subscription to IGN, with high quality HD copies of all the matches. It’s not a bad price. It’s not something collectibly like a DVD, or anything, but considering the price, it’s definitely worth it.

Previous years of Evolution did not allow upload of Match Recording either.

Evolution themselves uploaded the Daigo Parry video.
And so there was no problems seeing more copies of that out.
