Well the best Sakura is obvious.
Also it’s not even that, it’s people thinking BAD sakura play is GOOD. That’s whats driving most of the conversation.
I’ve seen that Sako guy play a ton of characters in SF4, all with some of the best execution I’ve seen in any video. In these Sakura vids I’m sure he’s just screwing around a bit, but his execution is off the charts.

I don’t want to sound too rude, or too obnoxious, but I was wondering if someone who can record this sort of thing would be able to record a replay (with inputs) I just uploaded for me? If anyone would be nice enough to put it up on like rapidshare or youtube, I would love you forever.
It isn’t exactly the best game ever, but I’m pretty happy with it since the other person (Abel) had auto-fire and the comeback was pretty nice too.
It should be in the top 50 of recently uploaded replays by the time someone reads this, if not, it still won’t be that much.

I know it isn’t anything special, and I’ve had much better games where the resets actually work, but I don’t have the ability to record every game I have so that I can pick out the gems and it’s only my second replay I’ve uploaded :3

I just finished this video for a friend and I thought I’d share it with you guys. I’m not the best Sakura player but this is a HEAVILY commented/annotated video of Sakura’s mix-up game all used in my matches.
Just thought I’d throw it out there to see if it helps anyone or if people had more tips to add to the video. And I’m always welcome to critiques to how I play =)

Very good use of mix ups/resets. Good punishing as well. Good track of keeping about your stock meter. Very solid! I would only advise that try to use Standing roundhouse more and when punishing from far. Against an opponent that has an Uppercut to only jump in if they are either in the air or after they perform a move. I know it’s her best lead in but it comes to patience in that aspect. I noticed they weren’t punishing stuff like they should and believe me when I say that it hurts when not done at the right time. lol. Also I wasn’t sure if you were trying to show mix ups at the end when they hardly have any life but just go for win in those cases. There’s always an option of comebacks and we don’t want that all unless it’s Sakura of course. Other than that learning a few combos to maximize your damage wouldn’t hurt since you got the feel for it. Sure they’re tricky but it’ll definitely help you out, believe me. See my vid.

Couple of things; When you finished Sagat you used a throw after the reset where a jumping attack, Shou, Otoshi or even Ultra would have finished him off guaranteed.
End of video you opt for Otoshi instead of Ultra, as a result the Otoshi didn’t finish him off 
(but EX Shou FTW anyways :D).
My general philosophy on resets is to only try one at a time, if I guess right the first time I won’t get cocky and try again I’ll always end it with an Otoshi. Also Ultra over reset when you have the chance, might not get a second chance to use it x_x;;
yeah now that I watch the video again an otoshi was probably enough to kill him. so pretty dumb on my part to risk losing but I was in the mindset of doing resets so I could show my friend. that’s just another lesson though, don’t miss the forest for the trees =)
I dunno what happened but I don’t really do ex.tatsu > Ultra that much anymore. I think it’s because I miss with it way too much (especially from P1 side for some reason) so I stick with my other options
Heh tell me about it, P1 side used to be my best but now it’s switched, P2 is maybe 90% accurate where P1 side is 50% or worse x_x;;. What’s annoying is when the stupid dash doesn’t even come out and I end up doing the Ultra too far away >.<
You need to practice that though, it’s the only time you’ll land an Ultra outside an FA crumple or punishing a slow recovery move.
