That was one of my original ideas, sort of. fLoE and Wolfkrone could play an exhibition match to break a potential 2-2 tie amongst 4v4 MI vs CHI. Just having an exhibition on its own could be cool.
I really like the idea of trying to get MW to represent in other games, though. So some sort of ST event at the very least, and perhaps more games such as UMK3, T6, etc. Anything where the MW has some good players. Anyone have any thoughts on those kinds of special events/exhibitions, or anything you may want to see? This type of stuff doesn’t even have to be at PU2011. Anyone running tournaments in the MW could benefit from these kinds of ideas.

I just want to make a suggestion, as many people know that Peaceful Jays stream is a pretty good Idea and I think the Midwest needs its own stream lobby so we can all chat and level up together without having to deal with those long distance connections. Just an idea and I think it would help us as we are so spread apart.

@Tactics: That stream lobby sounds like a cool idea. The long distance connections would still be a problem though, wouldn’t they? Nevertheless, what goes into making a 24/7 stream lobby? I really don’t know exactly. How do you keep the PS3 cool? XD
i support this idea…and honestly it doesnt even have to be a 24/7 thing it could just be certain blocks of time throughout the week if 24/7 wasnt feasable

Well on XBL I can connect to anyone around the Midwest that has a decent amount of bandwith and it will play very well. Even playing against some people from Canada just above us isnt bad at all and is very playable. Playing online is really a great way to help people learn matchups, I personally have been learning a ton by watching streams and playing online to test out stuff for matchups. Just don’t have to take the loss that much to heart or it will eat your soul! As long as you learn then its never a losing match!!! With more online games incoming I really think we need to do something NOW to learn more match-ups!!! And wow with FLoE running a Lobby thats even more sick as he could point out mistakes as well if he wanted to.

I like that idea. Stipulation though, the host has to be direct connected. Hell, you could even have different people host the room on certain days/nights.

Putting the call out for podcast volunteers! Preferably someone I haven’t spoken with, but hey, if you’ve got something new to talk about I’m all for it.
I’ve got a few ideas in the works but they’re taking a bit too long. I’d like to avoid putting the podcast on hiatus for an extended period of time : )
