Custom arcade sticks allowed?

Custom sticks are allowed. We encourage people to bring their own sticks as we only have a few to loan out
When you guys say singles for $10, what exactly does this mean? I’m paying to enter into a BB:CS only tourney for singles, non team, correct?
Just want to clear things up. Hope i can make it to the event, but it’s still far off being 2 months away. Where I work I cant request off so…
You’re exactly right, AoBfrost. When it says BB:CS Singles, that means you’re entering only yourself in the tournament and your entry fee is $10.

I jest, I jest, but seriously we will need your help to make sure PU2011 runs smooth. Donating your hardware and software is important to the event, and all of the PU2011 staff will make sure your donated materials are kept safe all the way to the end of the event.

I’m going to get tons of footage the next time I’m at AL and at Ascension so I can make a trailer for PU 2011 Nate.
If you can, can you bring some highlight material from the TvC matches you have recorded so it can be a part of the trailer? Maybe we can transfer it to a flash drive for easy access.
I’ll see about fishing through the TvC footage for some highlights.

@Phil: I’ve compiled around 3 minutes of TvC highlights from the Fight Nights. I’ll bring a couple versions of the video (hi-res and standard) on my flash drive at Ascension.
Sweet Nathan, I might need some help capping footage for T6 as well. I just rem: that I no longer have a 1 gig memory stick so capping alot of footage isn’t going to work.
I’ve got no problem helping out with T6 footage. Just let me know where you need the camera!
For getting all that footage to you, would you be able to grab it off of YouTube if I posted it, or do you need to me drop it all down onto my flash drive and/or other storage media?
I’ll be pre=reg sometime in the next two weeks. The 4 on 5 is going to be hella hype.
What are the chances of running an HDR side tourney? Any interest? Don’t know if I’ll come for just ST on cabinet (with crappy Jap-style sticks, LOL), unless I end up really liking MvC3 or MK9 or some miracle happens and KOF13 actually comes out on console.
I am planning on having PS2 ports on at least one candy cab by PowerUp so JP parts shouldn’t deter you from coming. I’ll post up for sure once that happens.
If you can gain interest for HDR, and find someone who wants to run it (yourself or other), more power to you! It’s cool that the PS2 ports will be available for ST, though.
When the time comes, just let the PU2011 staff know if you’d like to run an HDR side tourney. We’ll hold the money and you take care of the rest (sign-ups, brackets) : )

We’ll hopefully be attracting some more great MvC3 and SSFIV competition to fight over the EVO seeding points.
And, of course, there is a high chance for Magical Drop MMs. I know of a couple locals who’d be interested.
