Wow, already a strong response! Looks like even if it’s released the day of PU2010, we’ll be running SSFIV/BB:CS. If people are cool with putting their money in, then it works for me : )

HDR is popular enough to be a Main Tournament. I will commit to running that tournament IF you decide to make it a main attraction.
Sounds good to me. I’ll just move it back up to the main games section and we’ll make sure to have an adequate number of setups come tourney time. Entry fee will be back to $10. It will have to remain on Sunday because others who are helping run tournaments have already requested their games be on Saturday. I hope that’s not a problem for your schedule, WSOP. I think some of you may have seen this already, but Tonamento by Damdai is looking like the coolest tournament organization tool around! Thought that the PowerUp organizers might try to use it.
Very interesting. I don’t see why we couldn’t use it as another way of getting PU2010 out there. I’ll have to check out the bracket software too. Hopefully it’ll be good.

EDIT: Okay, so I didn’t think about it at the time and put the current poll on “indefinitely”. At the time I assumed I could go back and edit it whenever I needed to, but that isn’t the case as far as I can tell. I don’t want to bother Javi with such a minor issue, so does anyone know how I can delete/edit the current poll without messing with the thread? At least now I’ll know to put some sort of time limit on future polls. I’ve tried the Thread Tools, but see no poll option anymore, didn’t see anything in the editor for the OP, and couldn’t locate any info for the problem in the SRK FAQs.

As far as I know there is no way to get rid of a poll once its there. You have to make a new thread to make a new poll. The cbus thread had that problem earlier.

I have no friends and I only have a brobox stick. If I just kinda show up, whats the chance I will actually be able to play? I mean…I’d loan my stick to anybody that wants to use it, but I’m not sure how sacred tournament player’s sticks are. I heard you could mod your sticks to allow multi-console compatibility, but I don’t know if its worth it because this is the only event I’ll probably be going to. NE ohio has nothing :[
Too bad about the poll thing, but oh well. I’ll know better for next time. As for now, I’ll just keep track of the votes for the next cabinet tournament. Feel free to choose from any that Jesse listed, and I’m sure there will be time for more, just unofficially, if people really want to play Puzzle Fighter, for example. I’ll update the OP with current results for the voting.
@prorook: It’s always best to bring your own controller, but I’d say there’s a 75% chance someone will let you borrow theirs, as long as they can keep an eye on it or something.
