I’ve added a couple side tournaments, 3S and GGAC, to the OP. More to come in the near future. Remember that individual players will also be welcome to hold side tourneys in the casuals/side tourney provided space at the tournament. Just let one of the organizers know so not all the TVs will be taken away from players looking for only casual play.
Also, in response to the “Change it to SSFIV” comments. I know that Amazon and GameStop and other retailers have provided March 31, 2010 as the release date, and I’m as hype as anyone, but until Capcom gives an official release date, I simply can’t say SSFIV is going to be at PowerUp 2010. Rest assured though, that even if it gets pushed back by a month, as long as it is still released within a week of PowerUp 2010, we will run it.

I know what you mean, but pretty much everyone is going to understand if the games not out you can’t run a tournament in it.

They have one for all the characters of the games being played at the tounament, plus they have a blank template that you can insert your own image into, like I did.

Major update to the PowerUp 2010 rules as Digimonemporer has offered to run SSBB, SSBM, and Naruto Revolution 3.
Also, the tentative schedule for PU2010 has been updated to more accurately reflect what will probably be taking place over the weekend.
It keeps getting better Nathan. I’m getting started on that new Showcase cab this week! I’m also picking up an unexpected arcade board that I think people will want to play. I’ll say for sure once its in my possession. I’ve also got a UMK3 cab in my sights. If all goes as planned, I will have it very soon.

osi man you should definitely get the regional 5v5 going… it’d be sweet to have a midwest domination 5on5… we’d need a team for each midwest state right?.. so that’s team Indy, team Illinois, team Kentucky, team Ohio, team michigan, team kansas, team wisconsin, team N. dakota, team S. dakota, team missouri, team iowa, team minnesota, and team nebraska…
hm… even i didn’t think there were so many midwest states… but it’s safe to say that a few places won’t have enough players to compete… you’re gonna hafta pre determine the teams and players prior to the event, based on who is going to show up and compete… all in all just know that i’m down to play for team Indiana :wgrin:
