I am still very optimistic that we will have our 5 for IL.
It is just an emergency backup plan if IL shits me and everyone else. Marcus hasnt gotten back to me in like 4 days for some reason.
Our qualifiers were round robin and it didn’t take long. That was about 90 matches. 5v5 won’t take that long since the matches are SBO style especially with the possibilities of OCV’s. I say we should keep it all on one tv, all streamed.
The players should be from that state. Are players going to join teams that aren’t from the same state because of open spots need filled? If we do allow it then it should probably be labeled it differently. It will look more like an Ohio vs not Ohio if there are 3 teams with Ohio players on them.
i dunno what’s happening… but i still want to be considered for whatever ragtag onsite team may or may not be happening… is that clear?.. i thought not… man i hope your head doesn’t implode Osi, you’re doing the midwest a favor by putting this all together… it would suck if you went insane before we got around to the second annual Powerup tournament… keep it together man… momentai…

Honestly , I do think the OG team would be a cool thing to throw some salt in the wounds of people who actually play 4.

I think a cool idea for the next one would be Old Skool SF2 players vs. New Skool SF4 players. No one under, like, 25 years old allowed on the old school team.

It should be like 3 games, and of game, a new game, and another that should be more equal. That way hopefully no one should have too much of an advantage. But I can also see super4 only working out just fine.
Yeah guys – if there’s not enough time to work an OG vs. New School event at PU, get at me with ideas that we could run at Summer Slam in Cleveland, late June, which I hope many of you guys are planning on I really like the sound of these ideas
Having more games than SSFIV would be really sweet. I’ll have CPS2 + Hyper Fighting arcade games up there so we could even run part of the event on machine.

And ST as well – I should be getting that board next week. Hopefully we’ll have Eric from Cleveland’s Japanese and my American 6-button cabs both ready to go.

We are just getting our plans organized now, but we have five Pittsburgh players coming out for the Saturday event. We would certainly like to represent in the 5v5 state vs. state team event for super. Hope it isn’t too late to do that.
Team wildkeits is willing to pay 50 dollars to join the team tournament, upping the prize pot.

How about HF or ST for old, CvS2 or A2/A3 for middle, and SSF4 for new? Or just go in order, SSF2T, SF3TS, and SSF4.
The evo regional teams last year where chosen by the team captains, in whichever way they chose. Team IL didnt have qualifiers either. Just FYI for the haters and scaredycats.
