PowerUp 2010 pre-registration is UP! It will run until May 24th, so no rush, but don’t forget. Hotel information is coming very, very soon.
Also, a nice sized update the OP has announced the first of the BONUS PRIZES. For now we have guaranteed bonus prizes (cash!) for both SSFIV and TvC. More prizes to come! The more pre-registration we get for a game, the better it’s chances of receiving a bonus prize. A list showing existing pre-registration numbers has been added to the OP. I will be diligent in updating it as I receive player information. Again, no pre-registration posted in this thread will be accepted; you have to go to PowerUp and pre-register by paying through PayPal.
There has also been the addition of a Cabinet League over PU2010 weekend, consisting of A3, CvS2, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. It works pretty much like a ranbat. You don’t have to enter all three games, but your record from all three will be what decides if you receive the special Cabinet League prize!
Also, the third and final update to the PU2010 Avatar Pack has been added in with the existing avatars. I hope you enjoy it!

Indeed I did, but forgot this past Saturday to check out AL’s connection speeds. I have Jesse at AL on it now, and he should be getting back to me soon. I told him it would be best to do the test using a wired connection. I should have the info back to you in the next few days, ideally.
why thank you much appreciated we for sure know it needs to be fast because the stream at cbus bar battles had some issuses here and there so if you want a flawless stream needs to be fast

Hey, you may want to move the venue pre-reg fee options to the top of that list on the site if possible. Just so there’s no confusion.
The cart I’m using is pretty basic, so I’m going to upgrade it and see if that resolves the organization issues for the products.
Is JoJo’s on a japanese or american setup?
I’m kinda ass on american parts, and I wanna place high in at least one tournament ;]
I’m actually unsure, but Jesse at AL will know. He should post up with that answer soon.
EDIT: JoJo’s will be on all Japanese parts. And CvS2 and A3 will be on American parts due to AL only having one showcase cab that can accept those Naomi GD-Roms (for now!). Thanks to Jesse for the pm clearing that up.
If anything changes with A3 or CvS2 I’ll post it up. I talked to guy today who has a GD-Rom cab he wants to sell so if the price is right, I may have another one.

Ah troubleshooting. The PowerUp 2010 product page is now organized into a proper list, with venue passes at top, then singles, then teams tournaments. You can add to your cart without refreshing the page. I’ve also added clarification instructions for signing up for team tournaments (only one team member will sign up the whole team, and pay for that team), and some general reminders to purchase your venue pass.
