I don’t have either this PowerA controller nor the SN30Pro+, but I’d say the two are different enough that they don’t really serve the other’s purposes: the SN30Pro+ has analog sticks so that you can use it conveniently for other games, whereas these PowerA controllers (and the M30) have the 6-button layout that makes them super-good for fighters.
So I think if you’re choosing between those two, you’ll have to decide what’s more important to you.

A basic guideline for everything defective/broken, that you “cannot return” below:
Return it to the store?
“Too much time has passed. Can’t bring it back/mail it back”
Buy another one from wal-mart, amazon, bestbuy, wherever you got it, etc. Then put that one in the packaging and return it as defective.
“But isn’t that unethical?”
As unethical as returning a product that IS indeed defective? Ok, if you want to split hairs. Enjoy your lost money and broken gamepad.
----OR----
“Ok i bought a new one and tried to return the broken pad in it’s packaging but, they won’t accept refunds. Only exchanges for the same item”.
Then exchange the broken one for a new one, and throw that one up on e-bay or SRK trading section or something.
And Or…
“Ok but i can’t do that. The pad has stickers/numbers to identify it, they’ll know something is up.”
Unstick that particular label and replace with the one with the numbers you’re supposed to be returning.
Done.
A while back i bought a Transformers Seige Ironhide figure from Amazon.com but took my sweet time opening up the shipping box. By the time i did, i saw the figures head had fallen off and split apart inside the box (found the halves). It was far too long to initiate the Amazon return process normally, despite receiving a defective item. Instead of calling amazon support and trying to raise hell, plead my case, numerous headaches, and risk amazon telling me to f’ off, etc. I just ordered another New Ironhide and returned the defective one in it’s place. Simple. Hassle Free. Problem solved.
