I used to laugh at that shit in the NA version until I saw Dairanger where the White Ranger (our Tommy) was literally a 9 year old kid who also grew when he morphed.
nah you can def get more serious but not like rated r serious and still be good. more realistic action and choreo, better cgi theres a bunch of ways to improve. Now i am not saying i didnt like this…loved it. just dont agree this is the required route to be better than whats on tv. but its really who do you wanna cater to in the end, adults, kids, 16+?
Not a big stretch to consider they are using assault weapons, considering the war went poorly, humanity is losing, most of them are dead or dysfunctional, or have gone evil.
You saw one Zord, probably because any MMPR’s who could pilot them are dead or missing.
It was pretty good. This was just a non budget thing anyway so going a bit deviant with the product isn’t wrong. Most of the people who are complaining “this isn’t power rangers” need to stop being nerds.
It was alright, but maybe a tad bit edgy for me as far as Zak snorting coke, and the use of real guns instead of the laser blasters. They should have just make the usual laser effect punch holes through the enemy instead. I’m all for pushing the envelope with Power Rangers though in terms of realism. A PG-13 rated Rangers movie with some real drama and not the usual campiness of the series would be dope if done right.
It was good. Things could have been better. Violence is a non issue and a R rated theme was welcome, as this non gore non violence thing that seems to be the norm is whack.
The Rita reveal was good, didn’t see that coming at all.
The Zack fighting scene was hilarious. Seemed intentionally over-the-top and ridiculous (lol helmet throw)
