GG sprites as icons WIN
and it’s pretty easy. You get the sprite, call it a PNG file instead of whatever it may be, and use it as the icon.
Yeah, there a few different ways to make icons on a Mac ,I have this thing called iconographer that is pretty cool.

Well the theoretical easy way is just to “get info” on a volume, then drag-n-drop the image onto the volume icon in that window. This didn’t work for my boot drive for some reason, so I used “Icon Composer” (it’s included with the developer tools I think) to turn the source image into .icns files, then renamed it to .VolumeIcon.icns, then just used the command line to copy/overwrite it onto the default .VolumeIcon.icns (that is the file OS X reads to get the icon).
