Here’s my work lappy. Those small icons are Post-It Software Notes. A few Yahoo! Widgets are there blazin’ a bit.
I wish I had something better to show you, but I don’t really show off my desktop because I turn off wallpapers to reduce loading times during Windows startup.
For the taskbar, I’m using WindowBlinds with the Ecliz_Deluxe skin for the transparency. It also makes the borders of normal windows transparent. I forgot exactly where I got the theme but I could swear it was posted on SRK years ago.
For the bar at the bottom, I’m using ObjectDock with the background set on transparent.
And, of course, Yahoo Widgets for weather and my GMail account.
Very simple design but it’s been my favorite for a long time.
Honestly, I don’t know the type of icons. I got them a while back but I forgot from where. I wish I just had one set theme. I used to have Mario Bros. mushrooms but I lost them in a system crash.
You actually can’t see TopDesk in the picture, it lets you push f10 to shrink and grid out all open windows and click one you want to go to (like a fancy visual alt+tab). RK Launcher is the little dock with the icons on the bottom of the screen, a launcher for shortcuts.
yeah exactly, its the same thing. Topdesk also has a feature that shrinks all open windows with F9. You can set your own custom settings to do these things with the mouse also. I think you’ll like it.
